    i love people who accuse GnR of stealing their look from Hanoi Rocks, considering HR stole it from the New York Dolls

    If you only see this band you can think this is Guns n Roses, the rithm guitar seems Izzy in the Ritz show.

    @kkpriest2112 no not really, michael has said many times he has never met any members of motley crue, vince called Razzle because he liked his band not cause they were mates. Hanoi were friends with Stiv Bators, Joey Ramone, Johnny Thunders, Little Steven, proper 70's punk rockers, that was there scene not all that LA bullshit, they just got mixed up with all that because of the way they dressed.

    @steakdiaper no disrespect , but who did the dolls steal their look from? as far as i can tell the dolls was heavily influenced by the stones?? it all goes back to the earliest bands man. i actually like hanoi more than gnr,
    but all bands take/use their influences from previous bands. i think it is a testament to hanoi rocks.
    gnr took what hanoi did and moved forward..

    hAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE 80'S HARD ROCK SCENE? Except that they hung out and partied with Motley Crue. Remember the whole car wreck thing?!?!?! Do you think that Vince Neil happened to pick Razzle up just walking down the fucking street?

    @radwallner1994 PATHETIC. Why would you want 80's back if you say you love glam rock?

  • @crlumberjack
    @crlumberjack 13 лет назад

    @radwallner1994 because they sucked, most of the bands were shit and hanoi rocks' got nothing to do with the 80s hard rock scene, they were more of a punk band, they were always related with the punk scene and were friends with bands like lords of the new churuch, the ramones or johnny thunders, they never had nothing to do with the LA shitty bands. glam is NOT a musical genre.

  • @poptartcaper

    Of course this band is as awesome as GNR. But GNR and Hanoi Rocks are NOT the same style! GNR is less glam more hard rock, this band is more glam and less hard rock... Sure GNR looked up to them, but not in every aspect as you can very well see...
