I cannot believe how many people are thinking this video was filmed in 1979! Just to re-iterate, the first song is called "It's too late (In the year 79)". The second song (in the circus tent) is "Problem Child". This video is from 1982! Awesome songs :-)
Hanoi Rocks influenced the then mainstream rock scene and is still influencing the now underground rock scene. At least some people still know how to rock judging from the defenders who posted earlier.
you are sooo right. that's why i liked hanoi so much. they were far better musically than so many bands they gave birth to. i aint naming names but,basically the whole sunset strip scene minus maybe gnr.

These guys reinvented themselves rather successfully,Looked too much like Japan though,and sounded too lightweight. Still..the two mainplayers are still around today,so they must've done something right.
