When I come across so much beauty by way of poetry, I realize how much I still have to learn, read and experience.
There was this very polite and educated individual that once told me that (and I hope I do not miss anything as some information may be lost in translation) The Arabic Language is like a Master Language for Poets as it gets very close to putting in to words very deep feelings.
I feel that as I do not no Arabic that I AM really missing out on a lot...
Thank-You very much for this video; for some reason, it means the World to me.

Interesting that Khayyam echoes the Taoist idea of the Creation as having by necessity an opposite...Good/Evil....light/dark....

Khayam was not a sufi. He was definitely agnostic. Do not try to misrepresent. You didn't mention that he replaced the Islamic calendar by that one which we use nowadays

Hmm…so Khayyam is made up pretty much by the english translator? That’s too bad. I really liked The Rubaiyat. I guess you likely know better than me. I don’t speak Arabic.

it's clear that khayyam was not a muslim. His makes fun of islamic idea of god and universe.
