But in tumblr posts, they do mention he gets drunk and crap, and quote "He always ends up drunk at the end of the day somehow," and "He's actually quite anxious when sober-hence his drinking problem." But I'm pretty sure they're confirmed to be teens, so take my words with a grain of salt. Of course, things known before the pilot could change lol.

This is one of the best indie animation projects I've ever watched I would definitely want this to be a series, and I did not expect the maggot to be a biblically accurate angel.

Something about her design and the fact the animation stayed on her so long makes he feel she is an important character, that could show up later.
Considering you like indie animations, especially Glitch Productions, you might want to consider watching Meta Runner, Glitch's first official show. It might start a little slow but by the second or third episode it gets really good Also, there was a Ramshackle Thesis Film before this that follows the same characters
