Full respect to feroze. I’m glad he’s training to box, he’ll feel better, stronger and most importantly he’ll learn to fight. However he’s already in his 30s. There’s no chance of him becoming world champ. People have been boxing since they were kids, win golden glove championships, have an extensive amateur career then finally enter the pros. And only a select few, the elite of the elite become world champs. Even to become an amateur champ at a proper boxing body in the US/UK is tough. I hate to say it, but it’s way too late for Feroze to become champ. If he fights in the amateurs overseas then still he’ll be up against kids in their late teens or early 20s that have been boxing for years. I hope Feroze bhai realises this. Thinking big and self belief is great however realism is also imperative. 1 year of training isn’t nowhere near enough to compete at world level. InshaAllah I hope Feroze takes this on board and instead just do celeb/big influencer boxing matches.
