Someone help! I am ripping my hair out trying to figure this out... He uses the top right pad (#3) to turn on a clap sound on the ext. trigger attached to his snare... very obvious if you look at these two moments: ON at 4:18, OFF at 4:49... how do you do that?! Like, how do you set that up on the Roland SPD-SX? That would be HUGELY helpful for a band I am in but I am a bit tech-inept, new to this stuff... hope someone answers this call!

Music is a business. I've taken gigs that I didn't want to take. As a pro, semi pro ( I work a 9-5) even if you don't care for the artists work, take the gig, build your resume, and collect your pay. For example I don't like country music. But if Billy Ray Cyrus contacted me, and said I need a drummer are you available. I'm asking, where do i audition. How much does it pay? How many dates is the band playing, and what's the duration.
