  • A special video unboxing review of the Bonsaii micro-cut paper shredder. EverShred Model # C149-D
I just purchased this paper shredder from Amazon to replace my older paper shredder.

This Bonsaii paper shredder performs the P-4 micro-cut at a reasonable speed. I have shred up to 6 pages without any problems but it has a challenge with very thick cardboard like paper. It's motor is pretty quiet at 62dB and way more quiet than my older Fellows model.
It's cut is also more secure than the cross-cut models given the shred is more smaller in sizing but like all micro-cut models in the current marketplace, it's a compromise on the speed of the cut.
As I have mentioned that the motor can run over 60 mins continuously without overheating. This a plus because many newer shredders out there will overheating under the micro-cut category.
Pricing is very reasonable and it's bucket container is very well sized to capture the micro-cut paper nibbles afterwards.
You can also put a plastic liner to capture the paper nibbles but I found it as optional.

When not in use, I turn off it but leave it plugged in. I didn't want to waste $$$ for power.
