Since she's been hiding and not answering any questions from reporters and literally walking away from them while they are asking, I'm sure he wanted to hear her answer anything. He went into hostile territory and was willing to answer questions, but Harris won't do it because her answers have to be scripted or she ends up with her usual word salad that never actually gives an answer.

Again there are plenty of African Americans that are 1/4 black and identify as black. To most white Americans the most important thing about her is temperament, education and experience. Her mother is Indian, and her father claims to be Irish and Indian descended from Irish slave owners. Her father was born in Jamaica but Jamaican is a nationality not a race. Not every Jamaican is black. Kamala was born in California, but she grew up in Canada. Her whole career, she was the first Indian-American this and that. There are multiple interviews of her claiming her Indian side. CNN even did a few. In fact, CNN did a whole segment celebrating her being Indian-American, with Kamala talking about how her entire political career was influenced by her Indian mother. They interviewed her family members, none of which were black. Kamala is an Indian name which is why everyone in the black community keeps mispronouncing it. The actress who played Kelly from The Office invited her on her show and talked about how they were both South Indian and how the Indian community was so proud to have an Indian-American representing them in politics. Now she's African-American? I haven't heard her or any news outlet bring up her Indian side again or explain how she's African-American? I wonder how insulted the Indian community must be. What would be wrong with being the first Indian-American president? She was the first Indian-American senator in California.

It was before the Joe Brown interview. Her whole history is a mess. Even if she does have a drop of black in her it's very distant somewhere on her father's side and she's never claimed it until now for obvious reasons. There are way more black voters than Indians, though Indian Americans are the highest-earning Americans in the US. She's either going after money or votes and this time, it's the votes that matter more.
