Conquerors Blades - Namkhan Archers - A Decent Mid Tier Archer!

- So we are back for more Conquerors Blades as we set about taking a look at the Namkhan Archers one of the three units that can be unlocked in the season 2 unit challenges. From what i've tried so far these guys are the best of the first 3 units :) The bleed damage is really good and it stacks an enormous amount!

namkans bleed are what I think make them grand because I don't think armour keeps blood in your body
I really love this unit, i think its great, i can get over 100 kills a lot of the times with them if they get a good position
Yeah they are certainly a nice unit, I think in part i'm just to used to my prefectures so I still prefer them at the moment
are these Namkhan archers still obtainable ? i click barrack and cant find them under archers
Go to f5 then unit challenges and change to season 2, you can find them there :)

How do you send units back to supply on there own???
I just use 'X' to bring up the positioning marker and then aim that on the supply point, the unit will then run to that marker

i tried them as well and they are pretty damn strong indeed :D

Is there a point to not having the toggle bleed on? It seems like it’s just a flat buff. Why even have the toggle at all?
no benefit as far as I can tell. Originally the bleed damage was on cooldown so maybe the toggle is just because it was the easiest way for them to remove the cooldown
you lose pierce damage when the bleed is on, so fighting archers or other squishy targets (targets that dont survive long enough to make the bleed damage even count) is better done without bleed.
don't really know is all the bleed damage do the same amount or base on damaged enemy's health percentage
No matter these new units are good or not, they look really cool though XD
BTW your micromanagement on troops seems to be better and better :D
I think the bleed damage is just a fixed value not percentage based. They certainly go look pretty nice :-D
@@EvoLozGaming that makes me wonder bleed and poison arrow, which one is better (not consider the base stats of different archer)

OMG, this unit is supreme. Bleed damage can stack 5 times and made enemy bleed 1k bloods.
They certainly can be pretty nice when you get that stacked bleed :-)

how do you get so much unit experience?
I 1050 S many times in sieges but my base exp caps out at ~ 13k :(
Just wait till you get the unit with shields and war maces they're devastating when used right

Random question.. How do you get your camera so far zoomed out, mine always seems super close :/
I use the normal camera mode in the settings rather than the cinematic camera, that should then allow you to zoom out :)
@@EvoLozGaming I do too, it just seems like I have a wider fov but unable to zoom out as much :/ can't find any settings to change it either :/

It's because you are playing as a ranged weapon class. Ranged weapons have the camera strapped to their back, no way around it. Other characters can just scroll the mouse and dezoom as they see fit.
i like the unit but why not a bit of upgrede defence
generally because they are already so soft and fragile any upgrade is just such a small improvement that it doesn't make much difference
@@EvoLozGaming well your right but i would upgrade defence 1once becaues if your agancte enemy archers
had to disband my top tier asian pikes for them .... but theyre decent enough to soften that blow :( .. .also the ammo amount depletes fast due to the 32 man in unit. i even use them more then fire archers at the moment, because the fire ability has a cooldown, compared to the bleed effect being a constant effect + base dam on fire archers is lower ..AND many high tier units have a decent fire defence now and not bleed resistence (shame because i have over 100 fire archers kits now from all fief chests ;) ) all in all i come to same conclusion as you.... decent enough to bring em to a fight.
Shame about having to disband another unit but as you say at least they are a decent replacement, the bleed is pretty nice :-D
@@EvoLozGaming the more i play em (lvl 14 now ..so extra bleed) the more i like em ... btw ...what reaction did you have when seeing what new-year reward we got from opeing all advent calender? (i dont mean the horse attire) ;) just wondering

Does the bleed prevent a hero to heal when its still ticking?
Yes it does
except the first healing affect. Maybe 1234.. heal saves you
they are best mid tier archer atm at level 16..better than pref archer
I like them certainly a good archer unit, not yet sure I prefer them to prefecture but maybe i'm just to used to arrow rain
@@EvoLozGaming pref archers now do 0 damage on infantry after the range pierce damage nerf,,so the namkhan bleed effective now

They do MORE THEN ENOUGH Damage INSIDE their Range.
They melt every other Troop aside from Reaper.
Prefecture is fat better then Namkhan in generell
@@3DamX1 well that's implying you got fully maxed out honor upgrades and wirh doctrines units buy the nerf Is definitely noticeable and... On top of that there's also the buffs to other units so... I got them completely mazes out including doctrines everything but they are alot weaker against medium tier units as before

there defently a good unit but my opinion is that there a bit high on the leadership kost
and a tip EVO use the firing point more now the units stop firing when they dont see anyone you could have totaly shot at the C point without moving them to no cover
(cant wait to see you on the battlefield again EVO)
Good point will try and make better use of the focus fire :)
