Although my daughter is past the Beowulf Grammar level (8th grader), I loved your explanation of the program and will feel prepared to recommend it to others.
I also think the teacher's guide is kind of necessary. I teach every lesson, and sometimes, I struggle with figuring out the answer. Especially on the weekly review sheets.
Thank you so much for this video. I am looking for something for my youngest (in the future 😅) . We have loved fix-it grammar for my oldest, but I agree that they should have some kind of background/foundation BEFORE beginning book 1. I now plan on starting my youngest with Beowulf grammar before I start him on Fix-It! I’m planning on stretching the Beowulf for 2 years for 2nd & 3rd grade and then starting Fix-It! in 4th grade. What are your thoughts on Guest Hollow’s Language Arts program? I want to say, you did a video on it a while back, but I can’t remember. Or maybe you mentioned that you thought about using it. I’m considering doing their Language Arts program along with Beowulf grammar for 2 years instead of 1 (it looks quite massive 😅)
Thank you so much! I did do a video on the Language Arts program. I loved all the resources it has mapped out and do actually use some of them but I needed more of an open and go curriculum. I felt like that language arts program I just had to piece together to much and it wouldn’t work well in our homeschool days. I rely on my kids to be pretty independent as I work during their school days so I have to find curriculum that supports that.
I have looked a bit and will have a full review video coming out soon ❤️ they wrote an entire 400 page book to go along as the spine of the curriculum plus added in a “buffet” of other books and activities- there are a couple people who have already posted flip through a and reviews. I was out of town when they announced it so my video is a few weeks behind ❤️

You might have convinced me to get this curriculum.
Love what you said about completing Beowulf before Fix it grammar. I agree with this!
We’re using this curriculum now and loving it.
This is good to know because I have fix it grammar! And was wondering about that
Okay, so you convinced me to introduce this before fixit grammar. I'll need to go take a second look at this! ❤❤
We are using this curriculum this year. We love it. It has been great!

Thanks for sharing!
Have you had a chance to look through the new Guest Hollow history? Saw there was a coupon code for it but I have not seen anyone talk about it yet
