A classic! SOOOOO many quotable lines. This movie holds a special memory for my sister and me! We were vacationing in the Poconos with my whole family for my Nanny and Poppop's anniversary. There was this really cool walkway/loft on the second floor -- the walls were clear so you could see down into the large living room. One night we snuck out at bedtime and laid there watching Forrest Gump (the grown-ups were). I don't remember how long we were there until we got caught!
I was going to watch this, and completely forgot about it. I don't know if I will be able to follow it (I saw Forrest Gump only once or twice, so I might not be able to visualise it as you guys describe it), but I'll do my best. I hope you two are doing well

The thing is, we walked out of Forrest Gump at the beginning of the movie (when Sally Field was fornicating with the prinicipal) I saw it when it came on TV maybe a year or two later (this would be about 1996 or 1997), and I don't think I've seen it since. I do recall seeing it around the time the 30th anniversary Star Trek DS9 episode came out (that was the one where the DS9 crew goes back in time to Kirk's enterprise and they splice 60s footage with the 90s actors). So, yea-that was 1996. I don't think I've seen it since.
