Just finished it earlier. It was great!!! The twists are quite unpredictable for me and I'm usually good at spotting things out. Also, Beatrice is a badass.
Not sure whether you ended up watching the full season 1, but the season 2 just came out! It improved a lot from s1 (currently at a 99% audience score on RottenTomatoes), so if you two want to watch it and do reaction videos it would be absolutely awesome!

i liked Warrior Nun but i couldnt get over feeling that Warrior Nun is Catholic " oh look how bad ass we are even tho our priests have had their fingers in altar boys butts" propaganda..... and it is so stereotypical setting...religion is good....science is bad
Ava was a quadriplegic for the past 12 years of her life, raised in an abusive orphanage, and now that she's finally able to move around and live an actual life she's a little self centered? What the hell do you expect? lol Don't blame the show because you don't have enough of an attention span to experience the growth in her character.

But no, fuck it. I'll only think about myself, run away from everything, and try to hook up with this boy. Great redeeming qualities in a character.
@Leigh Stevens Sure, the Halo gave her life and granted her powers but it was still as far as the nuns know, random and born out of desperation, not a good deed from them that would make her indebted to them. So, it just had to happen, it was not a favor. With that in mind, Ava is not only granted powers but as well granted a huge responsibility when all she wanted was to make the best of her second chance at life. I for one, think that is a point of view quite easy to empathize with but I just dont think the writers went about it the best. They really dragged out her coming to terms with everything which is why i think the first half is weak. I suggest you finish the season to at least get a complete understanding about the show but I think your opinion will end up being be a negative one, or maybe mixed like mine is. They can either improve in the second season or cement the show as just bad.
