I am so disappointed, Ive been skating since 1999, but never seen any of his footage. I feel like my whole skating life was lie, because this shit is the truth. Dont think ive ever been in love with skating as much as i am right now after watching this. Incredible. Timeless.
I started skating then, too. Flo's been one of my favs forever. Check these out, two of the best but pretty unheard of to anyone outside of Canada. ruclips.net/video/nT2akB4c5sE/видео.html or this guy ruclips.net/video/wuoZ9OpqwH0/видео.html Two of my favs. Enjoy!
How you managed that? I started skating in 1998 (no social media) and Flo was one of the first European top skaters I knew. How ever..watch his puzzle 13 part, bro!;)
@Chris M - stfu buddy. Flo is hands down one of the best skaters to grace the board. He's been killing it for decades. He's older but still a savage. Way more ledge, switch, flip trick and manny game than Kyle. He still throws down decent size steps for a guy in his 40's. He deserves a pro shoe for a lifetime of memorable skating.
I feel ashamed. Have no clue why I didn't hear or see more from this guy. Seriously, one of the best skaters I've ever seen. Holy fuck. This is legendary. God tier skating.
Surreal talent on a skateboard. There are tricks people dream of seeing be done, and Flo does them with impeccable style and control. How this dude isn’t a household name is a goddamn shame.
I remember when I skated with him a few times he was not that much better, than he disappeared from my personal radar, to find him as a Santa Cruz Pro with his own board just a few years later. 😄🙌 Obviously he took off. 💥🚀 Very underrated and most obviously he never got what he deserved for his skills for whatever reason. 🤔🤷
He had a part in Puzzle Video Magazine back in like 2001, 2002 that caught a lot of attention; I believe Josh Kalis helped put him on Seek Skateboards, which was on off-shoot of the whole Alien Workshop brand. It was a pretty short lived company and he ended up on Santa Cruz eventually. People who know what's up know his name, but he never quite got the attention he deserved, unfortunately. He's the uncrowned king of Le Dome for sure and definetely one of the best at ledges.
i don't understand why no one give to this man a proper board sponsor. also a little advice to all the young kids out there asking for a sponsor, watch this and then repeat.
Flo Marfaing been representin' for a while. I 'specially remember that edit w/ the Kickflip Noseslide/Noseslide Nollie Flip Out, on the huge 'hubba' -ledge... Big respect Flo / Memory Screen.
Alex Carolino was in my first skate video, a VHS tape called Puzzle 16. He spoke Portuguese in that film, I wonder if he knows English or French because I'm curious about how he and Flo communicates.
