She's extremely throaty, but her tone and power are great. She would have a lot of potential if she were to take up training.

Sounds much better in the studio than live, tbh. She struggled with pitch and was sloppy with runs in the show but you can obviously see that she's talented though.

Yeah, she's definitely a Soprano - I think she'll develop into a Full Lyric Soprano or possibly a Lyric Mezzo if her tessitura drops and her voice fills out in the bottom half.
Remember that only range and timbre don't tell you voice type and that there's more to it.
What does lyric mean?
is she really? even with lowered larynx, she sounds kinda full on those mid belts (A4 was cool and for a soprano it is too low to be that full) . even an untrained soprano could belt C5 easily, but she seems to put much effort even as "low" as that. she definitely needs to work on thoartyness, but she really does not seem soprano to me

Exactly. Especially at 8:26. But her tone is so gorgeous and her mid belts sound so strong.

It's the low larynx. It doesn't work all that well on upper belts and Toni Braxton had the same issue.

Hi! I have the same opinion, even her G4s are too strained. I hope she works on her voice because she can be a vocal monster in the future. Btw I will also make Brooke's vocal range which has good lows and mid belts.

Not as good as her mid belts, but I would say it's good too. She has good control over her voice and I like her placement too.

Vocal range videos are too laborious (at least in the way I edit them). If you notice this is my second full vocal range video, I'm just making those vocal range videos from The Voice contestants because they have few videos.

My fave off of this season! She has so much fucking potential and she’s already amazing! It’s crazy seeing a vocalist like this so young. She already has an understanding of mix and how to switch through vocal registers. All she needs to do is learn support and not to push so hard on her vocals. But amazing, just amazing.

Itai Louback I would say soprano because of its ease in the high registers, its vocal Tessitura is very high, there are sopranos with dark voice ... "Spintos" "Dramatic" That's my opinion do you understand?
She's like 15 in these clips, so it's still way too early to classify. A lot of classical singers didn't even know their fach in their 20s. Definitely has a dark color and pretty large weight for her age, difficult airy low notes, and a fairly easy upper-mid register, and respectable agility even in her top notes. We'll see, but she could become a pretty full mezzo, dark coloratura mezzo or even spinto or dramatic coloratura soprano/assoluta. We'll see in at least 10 years, hopefully she has good training and healthy practices in the meantime.
Well looking from this point, i agree with you, maybe she was a Spinto Soprano . Her voice reminds me the own Jennifer Hudson what is a "Spinto", Xtina e Jessie J aren't "Coloratura" but they are very agile with your voices, maybe Shi'Ann was a one of this cases.

She had healthier technique pre-the voice days. It's kinda sad.. She didn't do excessive intentional breaks as often. I hope she works on her range. I feel like she's a mezzo but not sure. She's forcibly darkening her voice a bit. But I can tell it has that certain mezzo quality to it. Wouldn't know for sure
She's a Soprano who darkens her tone. Her high notes are much stronger.

@@TheEsteban2787 Lol, she's already clearly not a Contralto. Her tessitura is too high and her timbre is no darker than a high Mezzo. Her lows would've been more resonant. She sounds like a developing Full Lyric Soprano.

The girl is a Mariah fan lol and she's goes for the same choices airy falsetto... I haven't really heard a real head voice other than her agility low range I would say down to G3 it pretty uncommon to hear her mix is a mess tho... Gurl need to balance her cordinations as a whole , she need to work her head voice down and then learn to mix from her bridge... her placement need to be way higher and brighter

Johnny Cuff she isn't a spinto. Spinto's are lyric sopranos who can be pushed to dramatic climaxes. Whistle is disconnected so don't use it for fach

Developing Full Lyric Soprano with some possibility of Lyric Mezzo. Her low notes aren't as resonant as a young Mezzo is and I hear no indication of Spinto or Dramatic output or metallic quality. Her voice is very Lyrical.

Ella tiene una gran voz, solo es muy chica y hubo ademas situaciones en sus presentaciones que fallaron y no dependían de ella, mal sonido, arreglos malos, mala eleccion de temas y fallas del coro!

She has large vocal range, but here technique is bad.
Lots of screaming and rarely on pitch. She'll be forgotten.
Too many runs, and alot of her whistles are downright garbage. I'm not dismissing her talent, and I understand that she's young, but staying in her comfortable range and doing cleaner performances would do her well.
