The Restoration of the Medical Aid Society Offices-10, The Circle, Tredegar, Birthplace of the NHS.

Take a look inside the newly restored Tredegar Medical Aid Offices, which will soon be a Heritage Center celebrating the rich history of the Medical Aid and Aneurin Bevan. The society was famously the blueprint from which Bevan developed the idea of the NHS, during his time as minister of health in Labour’s post-Second World War government. Today the building has been totally restored and will welcome visitors later in 2021.
