The right joystick maps to the direction you’re pointing instead of moving the character, so if you flick the joystick down it turns you 180° and if you move it right it turns you 90° to the right and you use gyro to look up and down. I feel like it's gonna age well. Like sure this isn't gonna play the most recent modern game at all max sets and it's gonna fall off in that regard fast.
But, games are starting to peak I think in a way that it's gonna have only more optional settings. (Like RTX). And a lot of these consoles are gonna be for indies anyway so it won't be something that needs to be replaced immediately.

They just gotta redesign the magnification feature to the OS of such tiny screened devices that can very much replace the office desk and the office and even the backpack being pocket portable. They could make a folding version next, they could even make it so it reads your mouse pointer or even finger hovering over the touch screen and that would suddenly magnify the quadrant of the screen you are hovering it over so you can even make sense of when running apps, such as the case with apps with VST's with their ultra tiny text on them that expects you to just memorize everything so you wont touch the wrong selections.
I have the GPD Pocket3 intel version.
The fan was clotted with some perhaps factory fresh possible fan screening material, I've never seen anything like that before, but did manage to get the fan running again after it physically stopped itself due to the physics of material jamming up the damed noisy spinning thing completely 2 days ago and having being purchased about a year ago. It really was only desk used and super carefully handled. Oh, you really really want to get the screws screwed in without too much tension nor too little for its casing and possibly for most of these casings of tiny devices, or you will notice it wont sit as flat on the flat surfaces anymore until you correct that tensioning carefully not to ruin or wear out the threadings that are made out of maliable not so titanium type metal.
I might or would really like to remove that fan entirely, though modded to have a special externally designed liquid coolant based system thin line enough to park itself into a protective casing.
I once took wood and made a casing for a cellphone, and the thing that made it work being super thin, was the wood was very much a sponge filled with polyester resin. After that, it could hit the floor without any damages, while being super thin to the point that it could actually acoustically help the audio, but that's a phone without spinny thing in it.
I do very much dig the tiny little powerhouse of a computer though, and am about to make a proper mounting plate for it to adapt to for use in the vehicle of much mobility.
They should make one from a musicians perspective, or watch such a thing perhaps get popular with a different logo on it finding it's way into the music stores.

as far as TDP goes, all you have to do is set TDP in in BIOS to 40 watts (what I use on my win3 anyway), then adjust in game settings, the system scales to demand.
Reducing resolution reduces CPU use (in modern games), reducing frame rate reduces CPU and GPU use, and reducing most effects reduces GPU use.
Setting you TDP by application will, at best, lessen the experience.
