Hearing Stanley Tigerman describe his thinking related to the design of the Holocaust Museum is a 'lesson' in thoughtful design. Great buildings aren't just stone, steel, glass, etc. but are representations of complex ideas. It's a wonderful example of why most of us could not design a building, let alone build it.
