📌📌📌PSA: If you are a man commenting your ***opinion** I litterally COULDN'T CARE LESS. I hope the girlies watching this couldn't care less too. This video is not for you, it's for the girls. Your opinion is irrelevant. If your comment is gross, immediate block. But thank you for upping the engagement on my video I guess 🥰
I'm subscribing literally because of this comment! I'm also a woman who doesn't shave and who couldn't care less about men's opinions about it, like... Am I disgusting to you? Cool, now F off! Do you fetishize body hair? F off too! lol
@ YES!! Love that.🔥 these mean men opinions litterally mean nothing, the amount of hate comments I have deleted and literally FORGOTTEN about immediately after hehe! And thank you
I'm a straight male, and I shave my armpits and legs. Because I prefer to. If you prefer not to, that's cool. What you do with your body hair shouldn't be anything other than your own personal choice. Hope we can get to a point where that's a mainstream view. You advocate for it well!
Thank you for making this video and sharing this personal experience! I decided to stop shaving this summer and I have very thick dark hair. Since I've started I have not seen a single other woman with hair on her legs like mine it makes me self conscious at times but it is the right decision for me
I have the same issue, dark thick hair on very pale skin so it's very noticeable. Hopefully more and more of us will make the move to stop shaving and we'll see more variety
Thank you so much for this video; I truly admire your bravery. I really dislike shaving, and sometimes I choose to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts even in hot weather just to avoid it. I wish I could say I don’t care what people think, but the truth is I shave primarily because of societal expectations. Over the years, I’ve come to value authenticity more and more. Like you, I want to believe my worth isn't determined by others’ opinions and feelings. I want to make decisions that are aligned with who I am and how I feel, and connect with those who are able to appreciate me as I am. In a way, shaving feels like a compromise of my integrity, and that bothers me. However, I’m also afraid of being judged, bullied, or treated differently if I don’t conform-especially when it comes to my romantic life, which is hard to admit. Seeing someone like you who has chosen not to shave and shares your experience makes me feel less alone, and I’m really grateful for that. I hope one day I’ll find the courage to express myself fully, embracing both the positive and negative consequences that will come with it :)
You are gorgeous and i am very happy that you've made such video. Remembering those hard times when i hated my appearance because body hair, now i am glad i didn't continue to do shave it
Hi Fara, I watched your video a couple weeks ago and wanted to share my experience: I started shaving when I was 11 but I've always been a lazy shaver and have never been the person to shave even stubble. Instead, I often decided my leg hair was still short enough so it was acceptable, but I was still very aware of it when I went out. Now, a couple years ago, I kind of stopped shaving all together but was, again, ashamed because I noticed a lot of people noticing and I just didn't felt good with that, figured, what's the point, if I don't feel good with my decision? So, went back to shaving. And now I'm at this point at my life where I will soon move out from home. Then I watched your video and thought, maybe I should try again? I wasn't sure but started looking at celebrities who where brave enough to defy societal standards even with everyone watching. So, I can do it without the world wat hing right? Up until that point my leg hair was grown out a bit and I was embarrassed. But the moment I decided that my unshaven legs were an actual choice i made, I really liked it. I'm still very aware of it and wonder 'what do ppl think?' but it also makes me feel good. Also, I realized that the timing in my life isn't coincidental. Unfortunately, when I confronted my mother about wanting to shave, I did so because I had seen a woman at a lake that obviously did not shave her bikini zone. Even at that age, I already felt repulsed and hence asked my mother if she wanted me to look like that as an argument. She replied no. And in the past years, when I was shaving, my mother sometimes would say things like 'promise me you never want to grow a bush'. So, I think the biggest factor for my insecurity was the fear to be judged by my mom. Soon, I will hopefully not spend so much time with her and be able to outgrow (pun intended) that fear. My point, for anyone else reading this, is, sometimes it comes down to the people in your life. Of course, I can't out run my mother, because I do love her. But there may come a point in your life, with the right people in it, where you get to find out what your preferences are and really live them. I never expected to really like my leg hair but here I am. And also, it gives me motivation to be the person I used to look for. I have a younger cousin, just turned 11 and I want to show her that she has an option. She doesn't have to fall victim to the expectations of shaving. I missed an adult women in my life who showed me this. So, anyway, thank you Fara for uploading your video and being so honest. I hope it finds the right people and the right time, just like it did for me. I'm very glad that theres people like you who can show people like me and little girls like my cousin that we have choices and can be confident with making these choices for ourselves. I'm tired of having these choices made for me. I'm happy I was born in a time where things are (even if slowly) changing.
Wow thank you so much for sharing your story🥺❤️ I am proud of you for doing what feels right to you & standing in your truth even though your mum doesn't understand. Thats couragious!
I stopped shaving, and cutting my hair, in late 2019. I used to remove ALL of my hair. People judge. I have low testosterone, and too much estrogen, so I’m not that hairy, after four years. We can shave any time we want.
Personally, I’m kinda 50/50 as far as women having body hair.I’m a straight single male.I however do shave my beard, chest, and pubic hair.At least once or twice per week. For me the hair just gets to itchy.
Women were just as desired before shaving was pressured by marekting companies because men like women regardless of hair. I'm currently not shaving and I feel very feminine. Not necessarily more feminine but just as I did when I use to get dolled up. Right now I also don't wear makeup anymore but I do wear dresses. Everyone is living in a simulation and they don't even realize it. Since when did something natural, that is meant to protect the skin, became so ugly and gross? 😂 People don't realize how deep within the maxtrix their in. Oh wel, I loved this video and I'm sorry some people can be so rude. I'm grateful you told us about the positive experiences and even how you overcompensate in other areas when you're uncomfortable but are actively working through that. I appreciate the transparency. ❤
Great video! cShaving/not shaving, I don't know why people have such a strong opinion! I do think shaved legs look better, but if I'm feeling lazy I don't feel embarrassed walking around with hairy legs. Although it's true that it's different as a blonde whene your hair is not very vissible to begin with. Pubic hair, I disliked it from the day it appeared, and this had nothing to do with societal standards. I find it ugly, scratchy and frizzy and removed it long before I ever had sex.
Whether your appearance fits within the majority or minority of societal standards, your still identifying with a group. The truth is, nobody is truly an individual. You dress, act like the group you choose to identify with. People with alot of tattoos hang out with people with a lot of tattoos, feminists who don't shave hang out with other like-minded people who do the same, and so on. The choice to be "different" than the majority of society, is just rebellious nature, but a group identity. If not shaving was normalized, the people who did would be the rebels. It's a psychopathy to feel different or more special than the mojority...which isnt a bad thing, just human nature I guess. To set themselves apart from the group they identify with, they try to display the most extreme aspects of that group identity. Stockbroker bro wants the nicest suit, coolest car, most luxurious penthouse apartment and designer watch. Its the same intent, just in a different group identity in your situation. You want to be the most extreme version of your preferred group identity, feminist hippie people. I dont think its societal oppression and patriarchy is why most women do what they do, it's because that's the group identity they feel most comfortable in, or what makes them happy. Could there be outliers to that, sure. But think its more that than sexism and male oppression. You seem nice though, wish you all the best
I understand your comment here about doing what the group does, but in this case not shaving is actually doing nothing to your body and leaving its natural form. In order to match the group women take action to change their bodies to fit into societal standards while men don’t. You have to think about why that "group identity" is to change your natural body and where those standards come from
Thank u for ur comment :) All I will say is I do have a rebellious nature yeah lol, but like I said in the video, due to societies pressure it was a choice of courage & so a lil bit of a rebellious nature is needed ;)

Don't shave, you really do not have to shave.
Shaving is optional, body hair is normal.
