Good stuff. If you have crc contact cleaner you can spray it on a rag and clean the start section. Also the overhang at the start might be lifting your track a bit. If you cut it like Brandon SRC, you might get closer times on each lane
Agree there are several different ways to do it. I really like how the Pledge leaves a really slick surface and for me, it cleans really well. But everyone’s process is different.
It’s foam rubber. Just something I had easy access to. The strip in the middle is weather stripping. I think the black makes the track standout pretty well.
That vette and all the new stars and stripes cars, along with the neon speeders from this year are all made in Thailand, which in my mind makes them matchbox cars branded as hot wheels. I don't deal with graphite, but ungraphited, matchbox cars tend to be slower than malaysia and indonesia made hot wheels. In my last video, i raced them all and a few other cars i opened up. And a 25 yr old pontiac rageous blew the doors off all of them.
I think it depends on the car as well. The Karma that came out last year seems to be a decent runner. Thailand is definitely slower than Malaysia and China.
@@dxpdiecastracing , yea i have one of those karmas and for a matchbox, it is quick! I also have a matchbox viper that is quite fast . Always has to be those one or two exceptions to the rule to keep us on our toes.
A video that perfectly exemplifies how ranking is an entertaining pain in the ass. Love the show, Dale!
nice 🤩😎
26:52 that is a great idea, I was hoping you'd bring back the original gatekeeper.
Great episode.
Thank you sir!! Your car is on its way
Awesome bro
Thanks Bro!

Well I have the overhang for a reason. It is actually tied down before the overhang. The times will always vary to a degree.
16:54 for some reason I can't read the numbers. Usually I can.
Nice job the finish line timer is working at full capacity.
Yeah it’s coming off of a relay now so no more magnetic field issues. It’s working great!
17:53 I was hoping at this moment you would show the white board with the top speeds listed. I couldn't remember what a fast time was on your track. 😅
My record stock time is 2.155
It's ashamed how the cars you hope are fast are not..thanks for the upload Dale!!!
Always with these new cars. Finding speed can be a challenge.
Lysol wipes or clorox
wipes work quick.

Is that black railing on your track side foam or wood? What's in between?

@dxpdiecastracing thanks Dale!! Plan on doing a dual lane track so that helps a lot!!! Just waiting for Slamman to make some more timers
