Georgina, although I met you through the music reaction channel, lately I’m eagerly waiting for your vlog videos, I feel like you’re family to me now! I’m sorry you had such a rough time the last few months… I’ve personally been through a rollercoaster this past year with my life too. Life gets hard sometimes… but you’re strong, we are strong, and you seem so genuine and kind and sensitive, I wish you the best of luck with everything and try to stay positive and enjoy everything you do. When my brother passed away due to taking his own life the inquest went through the circumstances of his death and told us the ultimate cause of death. It gave us the opportunity to ask any questions too.

First of all I want to say I'm so sorry about Ellie and your so strong! She will be very proud of you ❤
My dad passed away in June suddenly and the same week my mum was diagnosed with dementia so I can understand a little how your feeling, all be but not the same thing!
An inquest is basically you go into a room a bit like a mini court and the coroner will hold the inquest into the persons death ( an inquest usually happens when there has been a sudden death of someone) so they can determine how the person died, if there was people with the person when they passed away the coroner will call them
To give evidence & they will likely as you for a statement or what you've mentioned as your evidence for the inquest.
For example when my dad died there was no inquest as my dad had cancer ( we didn't know he had cancer until a week before he died) and obvious he was going to die, with Ellie it was a sudden and unexpected death and her age, years ago my ex's brother died at 22 ( same age as Ellie) and there was an inquest which i attended..

I know it is hard to have one more thing to attend that brings up a lot of emotions. I hope that those you interact with will have a level of empathy and experience to provide you with the information they have gathered with sensitivity to your grieving process. An inquest is when they take into account all aspects of a persons death and try and figure out a cause for death if they can it happens in cases where a cause can not be defined or there was a sudden death or unexplained death!
