A 6 would be reasonable. But a 4? That just hurts the overall metacritic score this game could've potentially gotten. Like an 85+. That's why I don't rely on Metacritic for scores nowadays. Unprofessional critiques.

I think it’s just useful for knowing features
That eurogamer review is just a horrendous piece which describes the reviewer more than the actual game.
Mario party always has crappy review scores, so I'm not bothered by this. Even the older games never scored well at all, real ones know that MP scores don't matter.

I mean.. the reviewer complain a board game.. doing board game mechanic like (you have to wait for your turn)...
Its the same like saying to a racing game "you only sit in the car and do racing"

Yeah Nintendo Life showed off the pro rules and it's actually a good alternative option to have in Mario Party besides the more luck base.

Companies need to not put guys that dont like a specific genre to review a games.
I wish they allowed the motion controls to have button alternatives because there aren’t enough mini games for the board

I played it on my own for a good 2 hours with the motion mini games turned off. There's still plenty of good mini games and its a fun time imo. One of the better mario party games, the mario party before this was good too@zeuslight998
Would recommend a regular switch to play, I think for switch lite you would need joy cons. This would definitely be fun game to start or last Mario party . Or to dip your toes in Mario party purchase online and get the originals on your switch. All make a great option

Haven't played it but from what I have seen its better than Super Mario Party and Superstars

2 /10 is a game that is launches but is extremely laggy
3-4/10 is a game that is a big janky a bit laggy, might not be all that fun but it works, It's alright I guess
5/10 is a game thats pretty average. It kinda fun, it's runs alright. The macanics are ok
6-7/10 is a good that arguably very good but it could be better but that some a fan, that doesn't take away much from the people who enjoy it
8-9/10 is a game that amazing, incredible. Widely agreed apon to one of the games of all time.
10/10 is a perfect game. If you don't like this game. The problem is you. Not the game. Again that 100 years later. People will be emulating still just to experience this phenomenon
Now the 4/10 that eurogamer gave mario marty Jamboree. Using this scale. We can see this game isn't broken. It loads. It's playable. It doesn't lag much. It's an alright game. There definitely better game to play that offer more fun it. It's an alright game overall

That’s cool! I’ve always thought Mario party was cool though not much of a fan myself as I don’t really ever have anyone to play it with and I feel like without that it’s not really worth. Maybe one day but this is a pass for me. Looks fun though!
You can play with random people online with this game i think.
You can indeed play online. That’s actually one of the gimmicks for this game funnily enough. Massive online multiplayer and of course the classic 4 player mode.
