I have been watching natural hair journey's foreover 7 years and one thing that i have learned, that is, if you have long hair when it's relaxed, that once you go natural, your hair will always be long. No matter if your hair breaks off, gets damaged or if the hair gets cut. Your hair will repair its self somehow and will always --always grow. Not all natural hair will grow. We will be lucky just to have healthy hair.
As a long hair natural I agree with you on having long hair before and after being relaxed. My hair grows like a weed due to genetics. Don't think there is miracle growth product. However "repair itself" it does not unfortunately. It will grow sure, but turns into one big dry, tangled mess if not taken care of. Breakage and shedding are concerns as well. Videos like this are helpful reminders that maintaining a good haircare routine helps keep hair clean, moisturized, and with length retention (at any length). I like to switch up my hair products too, so I like seeing what's new out there.

I have what people call '4C' fine hair and I have tried the shampoo, leavin conditioner and the medium hold gel. Only the gel worked out for me. The shampoo: the 1st lather is very moisturing and foamy but the 2nd lather left a coating on my hair strands and I felt like my neck was on fire due to the tingling effect of the peppermint. Hopefully the new formula has been improved....but i won't repurchase due to me being sensitive to scents. The multi use leavin conditioner stinks 😅. The smell is just too strong for me. I used it - as a rinse out conditioner: difficult Detangling session and dry hair after one day - as a leavin : worst idea ever. I stank the whole day and had to rewash my hair the next day - as a deep conditionner: it was the only way i could make it work. My hair was so soft....also i won't repurchase this one BUT the medium hold gel is my FAVORITE base gel ( a gel used in place of a moisturizer or leavin) under a hard hold gel for a wash & go . I have yet to try the strong hold gel to see if it can be a one and done.... Please HH cosmetics, think about an unscented version for us with scent issues.

I bought the oil, butter, leave in conditioner and scalp simulator. Too early to know if it works but it doesn't smell very good at all. Way too herbal smelling and it doesn't is dissipate. I sweat a bit in my scalp and can smell it thru my bonnet. They should look into adding some type of fragrance or essential oil.

Maybe you’re using the wrong products.. which ones do you use right now?
I usually use Aphogee leave in conditioner, and as a gel I use flaxeed gel. For washing usually Shea moisture or Mielle products

I bought the oil, butter, leave in conditioner and scalp simulator. Too early to know if it works but it doesn't smell very good at all. Way too herbal smelling and it doesn't is dissipate. I sweat a bit in my scalp and can smell it thru my bonnet. They should look into adding some type of fragrance or essential oil.

Did that happen post-partum which I know can change your hormones and hair texture, or is it just the length stretching your curls more at the root? I havent been here in a while. What happened to you doing your own line? I also think you need to put more conditioner when you shampoo because your hair is soaking that bit you put in fast.
Hi Amber, what would you suggest for me to help grow my hair long, I used rice water , cloves, onions etc to grow my hair, and all of those ingredients helped, but my hair grew and stopped growing.
