Note about Gally: it can one shot Shriekers on any wave I truly believe it's the greatest exotic heavy weapon. Great damage, great ammo, great reserves, auto tracks, kills tanky enemies, kills groups of ads, buffs allies, it's perfect
Don't use it on bosses though without 2 legendary rocket teammates. Against shriekers similar to Eyes and Wardcliff it deals basically double damage but against bosses and raid bosses it deals about half which means it matches about Truth and Wardcliff
Still think, contrary to Tizzle, EoT is a decent weapon for Lonslaught. Especially potent with a Mantle of Battle Harmony (free x4 surge leaving legs open to extra mods) or Dawn Chorus for the increased scorch benefits (and Daybreak now being huge for DPS).
I'm surprised Dragon's breath wasn't on this tbh. Dragon's breath pretty much helped me get my first legend clear. It has great ammo economy, you can land the rocket on a chunky target and get into cover while it does a ton of damage to the yellow bar and all surrounding targets. Because we have overload rockets this season, it's also always overcharged in onslaught with the 25% damage buff.
It's my go to weapon when I am carrying. Especially on a Pyrogale build. It's just so effective being able to lock down 2 different lanes and then go watch over a third one.
Most of my clears have been when I'm on Well with Phoenix Protocol. Nobody ever wants to use what's needed, they just wanna use what they wanna use. But when I do use Well, I always use Tommys Matchbook. Exotic primaries already give you more super energy just from dealing damage. Once Tommys overheats, it starts doing double damage + scorching. Combined with Ashes + Combustion, you can dump 1 mag on a mini boss while getting about 1/4 of your super and burn it down with double damage and all the ignitions. The ignitions stagger the boss and clear most trash around it too. Highly recommend it over Sunshot
omg i convinced my friends to do final warning and it absolutely SHREDS tormentors, i'm not sure what the BEST way to kill them is but final warning is insane for it
I completely agree with that ros comment. I really thought a gerfalcons ros (God roll) would work great! But at wave 30, you notice it and by 40, you're debating what other options are there. It's saddening.
One of the wildest exotics I picked up in onslaught was the queen breaker, the special “jolt” blind is hilarious for add control and it’s a linear so it does hit hard on a crit
Finally, someone talks about Trust. I absolutely love that gun Looks, feels, and sounds so good. I know it's now meta or anything, but sometimes I run it with lucky pants. Turns into a pocket xenophage.
Completely agree about xenophage. It's insanely strong and with one reserve and one ammo finder, you get 1/2 of reserves with a regular brick and 1/3 with finder brick.
Legendary primaries do need help for sure. A godroll Ros Arago for example is a beast in onslaught but not by itself. In a Gyrfalcons hauberk build it absolutely shreds and I had a blast with it. But as mentioned in contrast to legendary hc's, it can't stand on it's own. Same with other legendary primaries
Somebody gotta say something about Dimensional Hypertrochoid with Envious Assassin and One for All. Absolutely mops the floor on legend during non-boss waves.
Yes. I was running it with chain reaction at first, but the wave is wide enough that it's redundant. One for all is the way to go. Dont think I've ever seen anyone else using it.
I do want to point out how potent Tusk of the Boar is as a wave frame with deconstruct. As long as you hit at least 3 ads you get your shot back so even if the first shot doesnt kill the red bars, you can just fire another one which allows really easy mass ad clear. Also any heavy wave frame gl is good as it always will one shot ads even in those last 10 waves of legend onslaught
You should give hierarchy of a needs a try. Sure it’s a bow but once it gets going it has a lot of ease of use, ad clear, and single target damage. Best part is the super generated from it is near unrivaled
(Little note on edge transit) If you have an envious assassin, bait and switch roll it’s actually the god roll for DPS. If you run Izzy and transit tests have had players hit up to 3.9 mill damage on Greg (hunter using dodge and celestial). Even more of a bonus if you have a curated roll with two perks in each slot. Then u can overflow and switch to something like impulse amp or Cascade point or even field prep for better swaps.
I found that Felwinters Helm on a Heal/Scorch warlock build can help because it slows the enemies down from advancing to the ADU and suppress's them so you do more damage to the enemy.
On the Normal mode runs that I only do, I use Malfeasance / Tusk (top) + Any auto/pulse/HC with extra damage (incandescent/void/arcjolt) (mid) + Hullabaloo / Sword / Hvy MG (bottom) - at my level, they work fine! OP: Great suggestions...but Legend is way too much for this old tortoise! lol GGs

Thanks for the vid! I started using your solar titan build, and my only deaths on any runs were mistakes where I did the melee slam too close and there were exploding shanks behind the tanky ads I was using it on. Btw, 12:45 Until Its Return with ALH Cascade is extremely good. I've used it a lot and it sheds high health enemies on aggro builds so you can save your power ammo for other enemies.
You forgot undeterministic choas? that Machine gun is really good as it weakens and makes enemies volitile every 7th 14th round? would u reccomened it?
I’ve had success using a kinetic tremor supremacy, sunshot and a killing tally hammerhead, I’ve noticed that even sunshot starts dropping off after wave 40 and red bars would start taking 3-4 shots each so a hammerhead then was really good and swapped sunshot to a techeun force for champs/ orange bars, with the heavy ammo drops it should be more than enough ammo to use hammerhead for an all in one except for demos (can still do the job if with a damage perk)
Explosive payload and kinetic tremor midnight coup. What do you think? It seems pretty strong when I use it. Would’ve preferred firefly and kinetic tremor tho.
What build were you using? If you want an easy one, that i havent seen many people talk about. Precious scars with either Tommys matchbook, or Heir apparent.
Ghaljherhorn with 2 heavy ammo finders and one solar scavenger. Bonus if you have an Indebted Kindness. Can literally spam your rocket almost non-stop as your only weapon. If your low you have a hard hitting special that makes heavy ammo crates drop. Any of my runs I have more heavy bricks that I know what to do with.
Favorite loadouts have been. Titan: solar swapping between precious scars and pyrogale Hunter- obviously orpheus rigs, but strand was fun too Warlock-threadlings and stasis turrets but if I have to I'll out well on lol Sunshot fits 90% of these builds perfectly this season. Its such a good gun right now. Sad the only legendary primary that feels any good in this content is zaoulis bane 😂
Facts. Just use abilities to stun a champ. Or worst case, quick swap to overload pulse or something. We often just burst a champ down anyways without even stunning lol
At this point I'm looking to mix things up and try to find slept on weapons and interesting builds. Swords will get you killed for sure but I found if you're on gyrfalcon hunter with a repulsor brace / damage buffed falling guillotine then you're ok. It's great for dealing with fallen when they try to run you over with invisible guys and the shotgun captains. Even at 40+ you kill everything and never die as long as you got ammo.
Luna's howl with heal clip and incandescent is super good for solar builds. Doesn't have the same damage output as ep/1fa or sunshot. But the subclass synergy more than makes up for it. Also nechrocasm is great on strand. Get unraveling going and the thrall explosions chain very often.

I run ghally with 3 reserve mods for 12 rockets. Bungie literally gave the best add clear weapon in the game 12 rockets and people are still somehow struggling to hit legend 50. It baffles me the amount of people I see not using it
I ran cenotaph warlock in onslaught through LFG and generated a stupid amount of heavy, people are scared to super and use heavy and hold onto it too much, the amount of runs end on demo wave is insane. So sick of players not using everything in their arsenal
@@FarmedRice I ran into an orpheus hunter who almost NEVER used his super and almost never used his rocket even after I keep spamming my gjally. Honestly boggles my mind…
Imo, you are better off using resists on your chest and instead using one or two scavs on your boots. With one surge and one scav on, I never run out of heavy. By the time we have the portal to the final boss, there is a dozen heavy bricks still on the floor despite using my heavy liberally every wave.
In my legend onslaught runs I've never failed when running cenotaph warlock. My teamates can just use their heavies as primaries especially if they're on Xeno or Thunderlord. I mostly use Navigator as it also allows me to gain and give woven mail, but Aeger's is prolly better if your teamates aren't completely destroying everything.
(Or use a legendary trace and a good exotic heavy like Ghally or Dragons breath yourself, though keep in mind you won't get infinite heavy, your teamates will. Double special is the play with cenotaph, especially running a rocket side arm and special finisher for emergencies.)
My biggest issue is that when I'm running ceno my teammates are allergic to the heavy slot. It's why it's hard not to put on sun bracers and try to carry instead
My tried and true load out after 63 full legend clears. Orpheus rig hunter with max resilience and high mobility to run spark. Mountaintop with auto/recomb, indebted with impulse and voltshot and xenophage. For my team composition I’ll get another Orpheus hunter with xenophage and a cenotaph warlock who can div swap for tormentor waves. When tormentors spawn I’ll swap mountaintop to succession.
@@itztizzle I think what complicate things is the fact that there is all three champions in that activity so it kind of limits the loadouts that you can use sort of
The Legendary machine gun mention is bogus if you know what youre doing. Ive used commemoration a lot, tons of clears on legend 50. It is an absolute work horse. Demolitions can be easily killed with one super. Super and ability uptime in legend is absolutely necessary and on my absolute best runs every has a super every round after using them and chaining orbs.
Maybe I’m stupid, but why does Celestial Nighthawk refund 33 % of super energy, even if you didn’t get the kill on the target? At the beginning of the clip, you nighthawk golden gun crits the demolitionist but doesn’t kill, you finish it with xeno. You still got 1/3 of your super energy refunded as if you’ve got the kill with your super… Intended or bug?
Lol,.. nice video 😊,... but why exclude legendary LMGs Hammerhead, specially the most unique roll of LMGs ever with Rampage n Killing Tally which gives you 1.73x dmg buff that shreds yellow bars n deletes red ones, specially with void hunters volatile rounds, swapping between gyrfalcon n orpheus also sometime with lucky pants for tormentor n Boss room,.. combine all that with seasonal strand mod for GL Tusk of the Boar god roll n sunshot for constant radiant which gives you 2.17x dmg buff.. also, don't forget to boost all those numbers with constant three void surges mods to make your dps 2.65x..😊😢
It looks like, in the footage, you're kind of not using Eyes of Tomorrow the right way. You wanna hit them in the spawn and at a medium distance. But you are right that Gjallarhorn is better regardless

Btw, 12:45 Until Its Return with ALH Cascade is extremely good. I've used it a lot and it sheds high health enemies on aggro builds so you can save your power ammo for other enemies.
Thanks Tiz! So much to do, so little time. I can't even figure how weekend warriors can possibly keep up!
You forgot undeterministic choas? that Machine gun is really good as it weakens and makes enemies volitile every 7th 14th round? would u reccomened it?
Bro you’ve been cooking lately with the uploads, keep it up!!
thank you!

Legendary primaries in the season of the wish, what are you doing?
Legendary primaries: heh who me? Nuttin, just hangin around
hahahaha
I’m starting to play strand titan on onslaught for the first time and surprisingly I still know how to use titan as a hunter main
A strand hunter with final warning makes legendary onslaught waves easy. Nonstop malestrom, unravelling, goes haaaaard
Great Vid itzTizzle ! The comments are cooking too , LFG !
I got a shit Indebted Kindness roll and it still hits like a truck. Need to farm some more.
@itzTizzle very interesting weapon choices. I tried legend onslaught several times but can't get past 35 or so.
Titan: solar swapping between precious scars and pyrogale
Hunter- obviously orpheus rigs, but strand was fun too
Warlock-threadlings and stasis turrets but if I have to I'll out well on lol
Sunshot fits 90% of these builds perfectly this season. Its such a good gun right now. Sad the only legendary primary that feels any good in this content is zaoulis bane 😂
The best weapons to use are NOT DOUBLE PRIMARY 😂
Facts. Just use abilities to stun a champ. Or worst case, quick swap to overload pulse or something. We often just burst a champ down anyways without even stunning lol
Eyes of tomorrow should be an honorary mention. You basically have a primary rocket launcher. I used it numerous times and never ran out of ammo
I would suggest using ticcus. It messes up anything
Great video, thanks! An idea to share the recommended build in a separate video?
Get unraveling going and the thrall explosions chain very often.
yep meant to mention necro with osteo and thorn but forgot. Was more supposed to just be a video on why certain things work well and others don't. Def wanna give necro a go soon. But very busy this month
@@itztizzle necro is gonna be crazy if the one for all change to the catalyst turns out to be true
@@reecem100it comes out in tfs
i think one of the reasons people hate glaives is that they fail the hybrid weapon
imo stasis for me at least works the best
the freezes and slows just let u focus on other enemys
Leg sidearms are so awesome right now! I can't take them off
The way you say I love bad juju 😂
@@FarmedRice I always get kicked for using Ceno people just see the "improves trace rifles" and call me a bot XD
Imo, you are better off using resists on your chest and instead using one or two scavs on your boots. With one surge and one scav on, I never run out of heavy. By the time we have the portal to the final boss, there is a dozen heavy bricks still on the floor despite using my heavy liberally every wave.
just having a weapon isn't enough. even if i had it i wouldn't do legend 50.
Chill clip fusion, zaouli’s, ghally = win
Ultimate utility rolll as clearing weapon is edge transit with chain reaction decon sticky nades
It's why it's hard not to put on sun bracers and try to carry instead
whats your take on blast furnace with kinetic tremors and rampage perks?
haven't used it but would love kinetic tremors and frenzy
My tried and true load out after 63 full legend clears. Orpheus rig hunter with max resilience and high mobility to run spark. Mountaintop with auto/recomb, indebted with impulse and voltshot and xenophage. For my team composition I’ll get another Orpheus hunter with xenophage and a cenotaph warlock who can div swap for tormentor waves. When tormentors spawn I’ll swap mountaintop to succession.
yep that's a pretty deadly combo
Ive been using arc warlock with brigands law that has volshot and thunderlord. Honestly its been pretty good.
Dragons breath not getting a mention is criminal lol. Great vid though
I agree 100%. Someone who is actually tried almost everything before making a video
thanks! Did my best to test as many options as I could! Was fun testing so many different things!
@@itztizzle I think what complicate things is the fact that there is all three champions in that activity so it kind of limits the loadouts that you can use sort of
Ive pretty much been using mountaintop, heliocentric, and ghally and having no issues. Welllock
Which means… it’s probably not the machine gun and it’s your abilities and supers that are carrying the runs.
Homeboy is saying “don’t use legendary machine guns” while he’s using one 😂
Watching the vid, if Touch of Malice not here prepare yourself...
Haha it’s not. It’s good but only with certain builds and play styles. This is weapons that are good for MOST players and builds
Maybe I’m stupid, but why does Celestial Nighthawk refund 33 % of super energy, even if you didn’t get the kill on the target? At the beginning of the clip, you nighthawk golden gun crits the demolitionist but doesn’t kill, you finish it with xeno. You still got 1/3 of your super energy refunded as if you’ve got the kill with your super… Intended or bug?
tether. So the damage from my super killed an add that was tethered
@@itztizzle Now I get it, thanks
why does no none mention nation of beasts? w voltshot/firefly all enhanced its seriously a monster
Would you recommend lunas howl? You said only legendary handcannons are good but it’s not recommended as much as zaouli and epochal.
it's not my style but it's probably decent yeah. I love zaouli's and it is same fire rate
in comparison to Zbane it feels like 50bmg(Zbane) vs .22 (Lunas)
Is fatebringer still viable?
Lol,.. nice video 😊,... but why exclude legendary LMGs Hammerhead, specially the most unique roll of LMGs ever with Rampage n Killing Tally which gives you 1.73x dmg buff that shreds yellow bars n deletes red ones, specially with void hunters volatile rounds, swapping between gyrfalcon n orpheus also sometime with lucky pants for tormentor n Boss room,.. combine all that with seasonal strand mod for GL Tusk of the Boar god roll n sunshot for constant radiant which gives you 2.17x dmg buff.. also, don't forget to boost all those numbers with constant three void surges mods to make your dps 2.65x..😊😢
Parasite is underrated. Been using it eith recombination mountain top from a while.
I love it
Great friking video man! Thx!
It looks like, in the footage, you're kind of not using Eyes of Tomorrow the right way. You wanna hit them in the spawn and at a medium distance. But you are right that Gjallarhorn is better regardless
I have clips where I used it properly. But the gun is ass so didn’t care to dig through and find it
What do you think about sleeper for the boss waves or is whisper just better
I love sleeper. But whisper or Levi’s breath have more total damage so better to use those
sleeper needs a buff/rework since now whisper is better 95% of the time
Thank you great information very helpful for me!
What’s the best weapon type for shooting immune shields? I really wish bungie would do away with it, especially on brigs
weird. I replied but it isn't showing. I would say rockets. They chunk those overshields
and of course xeno haha the jack of all trades
Sun shot on solar Titan, just flames everywhere
Would love to see you do a deep dive on glaives in pve
I’d like to at some point
@@itztizzle looking forward to it. Love the vids dude 🤙
0:17 how tf did he get super back from dodging? That's crazy to me
edit: i just realized there might of been hella orbs and powerful attraction just grabbed em all
Yes. This is how. Plus thanks to tether my Goldie killed an enemy which got me a quarter of my super back right after I shot it
pulse rifles?
Thank you for this video!!
Heavy wave frames are insanely slept on
Koraxis distress
Love ur vids
Lance is literally king
Defently handy to know. Thankyou
