Participating...so fun...nothing better than a night of bluegrass in the Tennessee Mountains!😀 Thanks Terry and team fir the time you invested in this marathon!!
You can also remove the back and get louder sound. I got two banjo-ukes: one with the back on, one with it off. Also one tuned to low G and one to high G. Just like little variety.
I completed the challenge! 24/24. This uke has a very cool sound! So many cool ukes in these videos. I find your videos very informative and entertaining. I definitely feel more educated for when it comes time to upgrade.
🪑⚓️bought a Kala banjolele ten years ago and keep it in a tropic Virgin Islands environment. it is sturdy and has a vintage look now from discoloration on the silver headstock. It still looks and sounds great … and travels easy.
I'm participating in the challenge. Omg...I want one! How fun is that. Okay, so all this review and challenge has done is make my wish list LONGER! Ha, ha!
“I’m participating in the challenge.” Oh that is really so different and cool instrument, banjolele. Looks like a round drum that sounds like a ukulele. Nice one!
Very nice! Yeah its very different but very cool. Nice sound🥰 Out of 24 video reviews I would choose the pono te-mdb deluxe blue electric tenor, kanilea super tenor, Romero st concert, and kala mahogany bartone. But all instruments you presented are wonderful and elegant. How interesting to have such collection of ukes. Me, I only have one, a soprano😊 24 of 24🥰
I’m participating in the challenge. This banjolele is nice looking. I have an old 1929 banjolele and wondered how to get a better sound. The suggestion of fluorocarbon strings might help. I like the closed back.
I'm participating in the challenge also and this is the last video I watched.Pleasantly surprised that Terry is stocking Banjoleles now. If you like the Banjolele sound check out the UkeLikeThe Pros Jazz course presented by Christopher Davis Shannon. Christopher breaks down George Formby techniques which are great to extend your skills to apply to all those classic Music Hall numbers. Thanks Terry and team for all the work involved in putting these promotional videos together ...... maybe we need a Banjolele weekly session as well? I've got an Oakridge that will get a workout once I've got the Split Stroke, Fan and Triples nailed down. Chris D-S did a fantastic job on the Jazz Course
“I’m participating in the challenge!” Different type of sound. Interesting but not my jam. And that is video 24 of 24 for me! Thanks Terry! I learned a few things.
I wonder if you can put metal banjo strings on this or metal wound classical guitar strings so instead of having a hybrid I can just have a plain banjo sound in travel size package but also simplicity of 4 strings instead of 5 too.
I'm participating in the challenge and totally down with the banjole! Interesting that it has a textured head and neck.... Long live George Formby (and Terry Carter!)!!!
I have a 1929 banjolele and was wondering how to get better sound. The suggestion of fluorocarbon strings might help. I’ve never won any instruments. I hope I have a chance and wish everyone luck!
Participating...so fun...nothing better than a night of bluegrass in the Tennessee Mountains!😀 Thanks Terry and team fir the time you invested in this marathon!!
