- Javea is a small, historic town, free of high rise buildings offering a relaxing holiday atmosphere. The local people are friendly and affable. The clean, warm, blue Mediterranean Sea laps the beautiful beaches and coves that Javea has to offer. www.spain-holiday.com/Javea
With its variety of landscape, ranging from sandy coastlines to rugged mountain areas, its mild year-round climate, its careful planning policies and extensive tourist facilities, Javea is a jewel on the Costa Blanca, combining beauty and modern facilities with the charm of an ancient fishing village.
The town is situated between the San Antonio and La Nao points and enjoys the impressive and magnificent protection of Mount Montgó. It's approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Alicante towards the north-eastern tip of the Costa Blanca.
Makes me want to cry!

@@charlesblake2280 I would completely recommend visiting again after covid has settled as I can assure you it's natural beauty hasn't changed since.
@@lestercrest626 haha, thanks bro, but think it would bring back a lot of sad memories! I remember Mont Mongo! And the Arenal! All the restaurants there La Boheme at the end, Scallops too haha! They got more expensive as you went along!
@@charlesblake2280 Now you make me want to cry. Scallops shut down for good😭😭
It's twinned with the small town of my childhood, Thiviers in Périgord, which has become a sinister place

Silver dollars at 3:52. You’re welcome.
🤣
We just bought a 1500k+ home.., love Javea.
Undiscovered??? 😂, Javea during July and August is a nightmare, beaches are full, restaurants are full always and parking in any place (specially the nicest spots) is crazy… out of July or August is a great place.
Beautiful coastal area. Looks like it's not over crowded by tourists, or is it? What's the demographics ratio; natives vs other cultures?
Javea has a good mix of nationalities from all over the world, but is definitely Spanish (around 50% are locals and many Valencian families have second homes in Javea). There are plenty of cultural events/fiestas and traditional tapas bars including those in the lovely indoor market of the old town (the oldctown also has an art gallery and museum. Javea is bussier in the summer but still more relaxed than many other resorts as there are a relatively low number of hotels. Some popular restaurants do not take reservations (they just have a waiting list at the door) and serve food all day, so if you are happy to enjoy a drink while you wait you can still get a table. As Javea has three zones, arenal beach, the port and the old town, as well as numerous quality restaurants on the way in from Montgo or Benitachel you shouldn't go hungry, even in the summer!
In the winter most restaurants remain open so Javea makes for an attractive place to be all year round.
Pero bueno no pongáis flamenco en la Comunidad Valenciana
El flamenco es español y la comunidad valenciana, también.
Is it easy to practice naturism there?
Your answer is @3:51
There is one beach (pebbled) that is a naturist beach
@@MikeS29 Answer is 'no' - topless, fine. Nude - not allowed. Only beach that is unofficially nudist is officially closed (Tangó). If you go full-on nude and someone calls the cops (happens), you'll be fined for 'public scandal'.
Wear clothes you pervert
