Actually, this accent dates all the way back to the Prohibition Era New York. (1920-30's.)
I lived in NY for a few years and I remember the Jewish communities and delis and stuff, loved the accent.

I don't think I've seen or thought about the old Ghostbusters in maybe two decades, but her name popped into my head as soon as you spoke, that's how evocative this was. Janine was one of my favorite characters from the Ghostbuster's franchise. I cried when I saw her in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. You really captured her "I'm done with you" attitude.
