Good job man...might I make a friendly suggestion to turn your guitar up or the rest of the song down so we can more clearly hear your guitar? You're obviously doing an awesome job...nice work!
@@Vall619 he doesn’t. His custom ods are 6 strings. But some people find having a 7 string is easier to get drop a than having thicker 6 string sets to tune down that low.
@@Vall619 ooh jeez. I tried that but it wouldn’t ring out well. Thankfully I like to play low downtuned stuff so I got Ernie ball mammoth slinky and Ernie ball not even slinky on most of my guitars.
I cant hear your guitar as much as i would like to, and there is some straight 4/4 hits on verse section. Those sections are originally played by mixing both 4/4 and 16/4 hits on A-string. You can hear it on original version if you check example verse 1 tabs :) But otherwise it was tight, calm and succeed cover keep it up man!

Fanned frets (multiscale) does *not* affect intonation. It allows a longer scale on lower strings so that you can drop tune while maintaining a more reasonable tension and not get so much of a bendy sound when you pluck the string. It also reduces the wrist angle at lower frets.
Headphones z Nonsense. Look more carefully. On any multiscale (fanned fret) guitar, the scale (distance from bridge saddle to nut) is significantly longer on the top string than the bottom. Don’t take my word for it - Omer Deutsch (who builds the OD guitars Roman uses) states on their website: “Multi-scale - also known as fanned-fret - Other than being a cool looking guitar, it has an important role in playing and tuning. Tuning: We all know that feeling of a floppy string followed by a muddy tone when it comes to low tuning. Having a long scale allows you to use your standard string gauges instead of a 1/4 inch cable and still achieve a tight tone without losing tension. Playability: The differences between the longer and the shorter scales create the fan frets angles which allow your hand to rest in its natural position on the fretboard, without the need of stretching those tiny fingers all over the F board. The Perpendicular fret is between 8-9th so you’ll get full access to all the frets without the need to stretch out your Yoga exercises all over the fretboard. Intonation: nothing to do with it! Every instrument should be set to the right intonation regardless of how it is built (fan fret or not).”
@@cyberia55 I don't think your understanding, I KNOW WHAT A LONGER NECK DOES. The fanned frets allow for different sounding notes flat or sharp. Play I speak astronomy on a standard fret and you will hear the bends he does on the 4th fret are much sharper on standard fret guitars, because the 4th fret on a fanned is lower than a standard frets 4th fret. Do YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH?
Headphones z No, I don’t. You make no sense. I said nothing about a longer neck. I said a longer SCALE. Words have meanings. SCALE is the distance from bridge saddle to nut. It defines the distance between fret wires for that string. The top string has a longer scale than the bottom string, so its fret wires must be further apart. There’s no way to achieve this except to slant the fret wires - thus fanning the frets. The same note played on a standard fret guitar and a fanned fret guitar have the exact same pitch. To claim anything other is insanity.

The fanned fret VENUS guitars that these guys use, make for very unique sound. Alot of notes are sharp on standard fret guitars.
