the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.
These videos blow my mind. To think that the kid that uses this room can watch this video in 30 years time and watch their dad build their nursery is awesome.
BH Abstract kids? How about grandchildren
@@mrgoodfind4949 you just blew my mind all over again Your absolutely correct. Next level 'hey kids want to see you great great great grampa build your great great gramps nursery' haha I love youtube
BH Abstract so true
Still throwing videos out even when called into work, nice! Stay healthy we need all your videos we can get!
Dein Humor ist einmalig gut.........bist bestimmt ein guter Papa.
I'm a builder to trade and I know how precious tradesmen can get about their craft, but this guy is brilliant. He's not afraid of any type of job. For example I'd stay well away from any plumbing or electrical work but this guy takes every project in his stride and does a great job. Clearly does his research and the best part about it is that he's not afraid to make some mistakes along the way and figure out a solution to the problem. I've just found this channel and love the videos. Subscribed to get notifications. Keep up the good work.
Ditto!
It's nice to see someone actually looking forward to being a parent. And for a third time no less.
Started the remodel process of our house this year starting with our daughters room, my gift to my wife for our room is a reading nook, love this video! Great info for a up-start DIY’er and also had to snap shot the video and it seems you’re a JOCKO listener! GOOD! GET AFTER IT! Stay safe with RT you guys are in the thick of it and you’re the ones we Nurses call for help.
I don't know how often you hear this, but thanks on behalf of women everywhere for not mansplaining everything! I love how you address your audience, it's perfection.
Your wife is so cute! I’d love to see more pop ups of her!
Not that only you're a great builder, but you also have a great sense of design.
Me talking to my handy husband: Do you like it, do you love it, do you wanna build it? Haha LOVE THIS & can’t wait to use this inspo to build one for our daughter
For you to have no training, you are massively educated in this field. Great job, man. I love watching your videos.
Very cool upgrade. Really appreciate you explaining your reasoning for building (no sag). Nice to have your wife show how to make a simple foam cushion. Great build and video.
Awesome job building and decoration
Like the finished result! You both make a great team , build and decorate!!!
as a dad of a 1 year old girl. i look forward to part 2 of this video when your adding baby proofing to everything. and you have the baskets put up high because you are tired of the kid messing with them lmao. Good luck. work looks amazing as always.
The opening was too cute! I liked this video just because of that!
Awesome build you guys. I’m watching this 9 months from its posting so Congratulations on your baby.
This is what I have described to friends. I want it in my livingroom. They say I can't do it. I know I can! Thank you very much. 🕊🖖🌱🤠☔🌩🐝
It would be awesome! As a kid we lived in apartments that had this framing in a fireplace & it is still one of my top memories!
@@chauntem.8841 Thank you for the positive input! I have been taking measurements and asking for tools for Christmas and birthdays.
Your friends are wrong! Do it!
What your friends are saying is “they can’t do it.” Even if you buy premade cabinetry from Ikea and add in the wood shelving, that’s more than most people I know could do. You got this. Good luck to you
@@alexm1841 Thank you very much for the positive feedback. I really needed that boost! 🌱🐱👩🌾🖖
Your baby gear is AWESOME! 😃👍🏽
The thumbnail for this video gave me an AWESOME idea on how to keep my books in a tiny house.
Such a beautiful piece of furniture! It's so open and made the room look brighter. I love it!
Blown away. Nice job, and congrats on new baby!
Mr Build It this is the first project I've seen from you that actually looks good. Bravo my friend
Awesome job, you make it seem super approachable! Also,"Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus".. what a classic, my daughter loves it (even though she won't let me correct her when she calls it a ducky).
This looks amazing! Doing your own built-ins seems so intimidating, but you gave some great instructions in this video!
What a beautiful nursery!
Just found your channel. Enjoying it. You balance useful instruction and tips with enjoyable footage of the process. Learning a lot. Thanks.
awesome.. i like your little work shop....
This video makes me want to have a baby again... just so I can build this for the room. Great work!
This is one of the nicest builds you've done. Looks very classy. Nice work.
Another project nailed, and screwed 😜 I’ve worked with MDF a lot and to get around the issue you mentioned on the bench I’ve laminated two sheets with epoxy several times and it works perfectly.
You should make a video on how to properly measure and cut wood! Sounds simple, but it matters a lot! Awesome videos!!
agreed... I'd been cutting inaccurately for years! so annoying
congrats....Awesome bag....
Love it! Lucky baby.
Wow just wow ! This was beautiful. I would love to see a video on pocket holes, exactly what to do. I have a lot of shelves and things to put and this looks so nice
Great project, I love reading nooks!Awesome outcome over all but I wish you would've slowed down to show how your wife got the corners of the fabric so tight.
Thank you for your service as a doctor 😷🏩💕 Stay safe!
Thanks for the discount! 😀 I got a baby carrier and bag for my nephew's newborn in black camo 👍🏽
Making a frame of solid wood into the spaces would have been a more solid option than using more MDF.
Great job!
Oh dear! 😲 This is exactly what I have in my head for my bedroom. How did you know that?
Thank you for giving me ideas on how to make my dream into reality!
Your wife is adorable. I'd love for you guys to do a Q and A together :) keep up the good work, thus nursery looks amazing!!!!!
listening to jocko while building, GOOD!
Absolutely awesome video - learned a lot of little tricks for cabinet building so much appreciate it and the gorgeous inspiration! Job very well done!!!
Do not ask your Lady to carry loads - she's carrying the most precious one already!

Love this idea! I plan to do something similar in my nieces room. Enjoying all the content!
I've been waiting for this video!!!! Sooo happy it's up!!!!
I just started watching you and oh my goodness you're very talented and my dad would love your tools lol
Looks great!
Love the videos!
Very, very nice.
Great build
Wow that is so nice. Dam I want that for my room. Well just the shelf part with the drawer Dam wish I was handy like that.
TOTALLY AWESOME!
Awesome build and video mate.
I was wondering what you were going to put in the little cubbies under the bench, baskets make sense.
I do wonder about soft close sliders for the drawers though, maybe have to be gentle with them if the baby is asleep.
Amazing work! I love all the little tidbits and angles of approach for each component. Comical, stylish, and economically sound. Were I a producer, I’d definitely have you on my radar.
love the build keep on
Awesome as always dude 👊🏻
Love it 😍 Thank you for giving me ideas 💡 You guys are the best!!
We don’t use brad nails in the U.K over here we mostly use screws actually as they are a lot stronger as nails can be bent a lot easier. But still I recommend get some screws, I have a container that separates the lengths.
I don’t know how to build or even keep my bedroom this tidy the only thing I’ve ever made is a wooden speaker . I only watch these videos as it is very satisfying and you are such an amazing carpenter I would love to remodel my house but I can’t 🥺
Delicious man... 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Looks good..👍👍
Un abrazo desde España!! Eres genial!
Love it! Looks great!
You should cut back on the coffee...holy cow, I'm outta breath just watching you! 🤣 Very fun build.
Your video editing skills are awesome too. Any reason why you didn’t use the spray gun for the primer also? Thanks!
I love it. Keep going. I going to build it too buddy.
Handy man super great if your husband like Alex. Great job. Lovely. Reading area. Baby nursing room.
looking good
This is awesome!!! OMG
あなたのDIY動画は見ていてとても楽しい😊👍🏼
How would you work around a return vent in the wall for the base frame. Would you just leave a gap?
This is amazing!
Building this for my girlfriend's birthday, she's always wanted a reading nook and her best friend has already agreed to take her out for a weekend.
How did it go?
Hope your family is safe
Your wife poping out is so cute!!!! Maybe she should make some diys videos :P
The Jocko Pod with Dan Crenshaw in the background, classic lol
Great build!!!
very nice dessing!!
Amazing - Mr Build it this is awesome. Note your channel got me started in woodwork. Btw any tips on keeping wood from staying straight during builds or how to best pick wood from suppliers like Home Depot?
What primer did you use on the MDF. Water based? Oil based?
your a beast ! good job !
My man, listening to Jocko and Dean Lister while building. I knew I liked this guy. Wish I found him earlier.
Did you secure that base frame/ toekick to the floor by screwing it through the carpet?
Hey brother, 1st of all, thank you for what you're doing right now, helping with the virus and all. 2nd, badass videos man. I enjoy watching them. I am an Army veteran myself, got medically retired after 10 years in the infantry.
Got a question brother, at 6:51, when you added the 2 extra pieces to make it more sturdy, I am guessing you used brad nails to secure it from the top because I didn't see any screws, but how did you secure it to the bottom? Thanks and stay safe brother.
PS: congrats on the new addition.
Glue its enough or any construction adhesive nowadays are clear ones..
I may have missed it but curious to see how much the total ended up being? Also ur wifes adorable! More of her in videos even decorating ones or how she styled it in the end!
Looks fabulous! Baby looks like any day now?
good job men from france ;)
Hello, what kind of rollers did you use for the drawers and what size? please and thank you!
What HVLP sprayer do you use? I didn’t see the link in the description
Mr build it, your awesome!!😎😎...your videos are easy to follow and have inspired me to create more videos on my channel and see what i can make..😘😘
