The action sequences of this epic film are certainly impressive. And I confess to having watched it countless times over the years. But that doesn't mean it's accurate. So I went through it with a historical mindset this time, all 3 hours of it.
Staggered that the Guards own video makes such a fundamental mistake. The northern end of Nijmegen bridge was NOT under American control when the tanks crossed. They were nearby yes in small numbers. Che k out the accounts of Sergeant Robinson and please rectify the comment
