Much needed episode. Well presented by both of the individuals. Been following you since the very first of your journey. You deserve way more subs than 6k mate, and I can already see you getting there soon. Good going, sameer!
Hate how this guy keeps saying "Bangladesh er manush khaite parena/bujhe na so it's okay". This is literally colonial logic that deprived us of our rights and resources for so long. Bangladesh er manush bujhena is all the more reason why you should teach them. This kind of internalized hatred is extremely sad. While cancel culture is indeed excessive and loses credibility, it is still necessary to call out people on things like racial and ableist stuff. People don't deserve to lose everything in their life because they used some words but that doesn't mean it should be tolerated either. We should strive to be better.
There are steps to development of a nation. America and these Western countries are only now focusing on politically correct use of language. There are decades of development that precedes this. Our country is still third world, we still have to first focus on fulfilling our basic necessities. These conversations only exist in elite, privileged and educated circles. Majority of our population don’t care about politically correct language, they have other things to worry about first. Its not internalized hatred to say the reality. I agree we need to correct people on racism and ableism but it’s not a priority for our country rn.

The dude in the left doesn't really have any valid comebacks and just says everything as if he's trying to sound cool. But in contrast look at the dude on the right he is just effortlessly cool because of how well educated he is. Loved this videos despite the sound problems ❤
Dude is just as clueless as the on the guy on the left, the reason y he gets praised cuz he’s pretty handy at expressing his thoughts unlike the other guy. Both of them didn't even seem to be aware of what cancel culture is.
Hi, I'm not sure if you'll ever read my comment but I think providing the guests with a questionnaire before the shoot starts would help the guests articulate their thoughts better. Also I feel like for a heated debate you should bring guests who are kind of professionally related to the topic. For example for international vs domestic students dialogue, I think the discussion would be more valid if it was between two academics. The executives/ content creators seemed detached from studying and study methods. Btw loving this format. Keep going
Theres much to take away from this. First off, saying the n word doesnt make a person cool, its very cringe. Secondly, something is only racist when said in a racist context. But that does not give anyone permission to say it because its cool. There is a level of respect everyone needs to maintain. If youre not associated with the word then just dont say it. If youre not black and youre not related to the word or not know anyone related to the word then whats the point of you saying it. This isnt about cancel culture at this point, its just respect. The person defending cancel culture did a very bad job at it. This had potential to be a very fun to watch discussion, but it just turned out to be two people looking for clout. This dialogue series is the most perfect thing for Bangladesh right now. It sheds a lot of light to the problems the country faces. I guess the question that Im left with is that does the person supporting anti cancel culture believe that if theres a black person watching the video, he would be okay with it?
Why do i or anyone else need permisison from you to say the n word. The cool/cringe thing is subjective, but it is certainly unpleasant to call a certain stranger u meet the "n word". Also invovling words with skin color is moronic. It's absurb how so many "PC" ppl fails to differentiate between words(which is used for communication) and actions.

I mean khaite na parar sathe na bojhar direct kono connection paitesi na but still if there's any, that will be all the more reason you should teach them/educate them/enlighten them.
A little out of context but there was this study done on how overexposure is very ineffective. 3 fear groups - one low fear, medium fear and high fear about smth related to teeth decay. While high fear group effectiveness lasted for the first few days, the low fear group had a more long term effect on people. Similarly, cancel culture - when it started off, those were effective while right now since people get ‘cancelled’ left and right, the cancel culture itself lost its purpose which was to make those people accountable for whatever wrong they did. With that being said, i personally think cancel culture is non-existent since its the most ineffective way to deal with problematic people - of course they deserve less recognition, but more than that, they need someone to help them understand what they did wrong and fix it.

The person on left, is somewhat passionate about using ableist terms and it's concerning. Under no "context" or circumstances ; choosing to be racist is an opinion. Freedom of speech is not freedom to belittle or degrade fellow humans irrespective of their race, gender, ethnicity. Your vocabulary cannot be that limited that you cannot communicate without disrespecting, hurting people. As an educated person who knows better, you don't need qualifications just to be a decent person. That, is the bare minimum. Couldn't agree more with guy on right (pun). Just because people are getting "exposed" for some silly things these days (which i saw happening o n c e with coffee khaba thing, again, what is silly, really? ) ; doesn't mean other ones are invalid or that you can just misgender people on purpose, say specific triggering things and disrespect people/ history in general. People are getting more and more aware of these and it's a good thing, being "woke" (which basically just means not being an entitled privileged a-hole) is important.

I'm sorry to say this but being so disrespectful to so many races is not proving his point in anyway. As from the title this debate is about "cancel culture" and not about "how to offend the black community"
It's not even okay to cuss or swear on public platforms, they even always skip the words like shit, bi$ch etc, because it's not polite or pleasant, let alone ableist terms. and he's here - blatantly saying the n word again and again knowing it's racist and the person in front isn't comfortable with it. That's just horribly rude.. it takes nothing to be educated about things you don't know and be better. Spoiler alert, man had zero redemption arc by the end.
Brother on the left side was like I'm gonna keep pushing, f**k logic, can't lose this one🚶 BTW Sameer, can you lower the sound level of the outro? It was a little bit louder IMO. I mean just imagine the audience is watching this vid using headphones and all of a sudden they're hearing a loud sound. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say.
I do agree that when I'm singing a song and the N word comes up, I should have the right to say the N word... I mean I'm not gonna say "n words need to wake up". If that bothers you so much then black artists shouldn't use the N word as well in their songs because it incites people to use the N word and the song is meant to be for everyone regardless of their race.

Very interesting watch but I would say that I think that the Cancel Culture terminology here is presented badly. Both the people agree that Cancel Culture should exist and it should have its sides but a few things I would personally disagree is the fact that Black Hoodie person is that firstly, if you always believe the victim without verifying the source, it is absolutely detrimental. The problem with our society and our use of cancel culture is its usage by 14-18 year olds mainly and other ages is the psuedo-feministic angle they bring. That Psuedo-feminism could very well destroy a man’s reputation, image, career and life. Even if it is 1 out of 100, you would have to take the responsibility that you completely destroyed a single man s life which is in no way is right and considering the minute things people get exposed for, it is a lot more than 1 out of 100. Secondly, the thing about our country being completely broken and us following 200 year old laws, it is very to easy to say our country’s system is broken and complain about it. “Raising Awareness” does not change anything and by complaining about it and speak about how broken it is, you lose patriotism. It is a move towards complaining instead of real solutions which your sides have clearly never presented. About following 200 year old laws, we use the law of gravity everyday, that does not make it out of context. Laws were carefully articulated by people for the ages to come so you have to keep that in consider. To the other guy, contextual or not, sometimes it is about common decency towards people present. We are not directly involved in the activities but as a respect to all sorts of cultures and communities to our country, we should refrain from using words. Just because your friends might be comfortable in that space to talk to you about it, does not mean that it is something you speak of proudly and openly because words as such are sensitive in that manner. Anyways, a fresh scene of content! Congratulations on that to the Scane team
Freedom of speech doesn't require you to use slurred words. Those words were created to insult or belittle people; you're not expressing yourself by using hurtful words. You clearly have an intention, and that is to offend and harm others. Theres 200+languages, and in those languages, there are 1,000+ words, and you're telling me that in order to express yourself, you have to use belittling words? We need to have a case study on people who think insulting people is a form of acceptable speech. Bangladesh needs to start having courses in school about having empathy, and being a good functioning adult or parents there need raise their kids better. bc this shit would not rock anywhere else.
the guy supporting the cancel culture is hella smart bro 💀💀 i support cancel culture, its okay but a white person saying the n word is fine, if hes not saying it to a black person in front of his face.. anyways, great video
Ridwan sounds smart and sophisticated, the other guy seems like he has no clue what he’s talking about. just saying whatever’s convenient “do you think its worthy to be on the internet” uh so if a man does something wrong its okay but if i say he did it, i’m the bad guy. well idc, if a man talks shit i owe him nothing
Both argument are so valid but I don't wanna go with any of this argument literally cuz you can't judge somthing from religious & woke aspect at the same time, It's depend on situation and context! Hate the woke culture cuz i can decide it with my own mine when i need support to support anyone or when not
Needed to corner the guy on the right saying if the n word was hate speech then how do black people have the context of "he gets a pass" for some white people in their crews so they can use nigga. For example, all the times Eminem used the word nigga and still had his black friends vouch for him when necessary. Man, hoilo na.
মাশাআল্লাহ রেদওয়ান এর কথা গুলোতে যুক্তি ছিল and he spoke very well. Where as for the other guy (he just wouldn't stop talking the "qualifications" 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️) anyways overall the video was good 💯
For arguments reason you use the ableist term to a person without disabilities. Yes you didn't say it to the person who is disabled. But think about it, would you use this exact term on that person in front of a person with disabilities? If your answer is no then how in the right mind are you commenting it on a platform as big as facebook and expect that a person with disabilities will not read your comment. When these people realise that you are using this term in a negative prospect, think about how it effects the less privileged people mentally.
It doesn’t matter who’s seeing ur content/comment, as long as the comment isn’t directed towards actually mentally retarded people. Also we should ppl advise to not view the type of content/comment they are uncomfortable with rather than blaming other guy for using word such as “retarded” with a completely different context.
@@listianomonaldo6952 without Islam our nation and culture wouldn't exist we'd just be a part of India and be oppressed by them like Kashmiris and Gujrat Muslims
i think this goes for all the talk shows in this serious, as much as iti is important to portray the current mindset of the general public, it's also important to bring in people who actually have done research on issues like this, at least for a better discussion. because if you think about it, the person in favor of cancel culture is very well informed here but i won't be able to say the same about the person on the other side of the debate. he pointed out all the wrong reasons why cancek culture is ineffective. I am a firm believer in rehabilitation but the shape that cancel culture has taken simply doesn't make rehabilitation possible. and in terms of the use of slurs, you have to notice that the n word is the only slur gulshan boys use. there are slurs targetting every race but only the n word is widely used and known, because it's the only one regularly used in music that they listen to. so i dont think the problem isn't only the fact that gulshan boys arent aware of the ramifications of using the n word, the reason they use it is because they are influential little kids
we needed this series. fell in love with your content just for this

love this! very nicely summed up, thank you for the support ❤
Very good point made. I agree 💯
I loved the guy with sunglasses. And pls that sensitive gulshan kid needs some help
Bangladesh needs to start having courses in school about having empathy, and being a good functioning adult or parents there need raise their kids better. bc this shit would not rock anywhere else.
the guy supporting the cancel culture is hella smart bro 💀💀
i support cancel culture, its okay but a white person saying the n word is fine, if hes not saying it to a black person in front of his face..
anyways, great video
feet kink people are going crazy 😍😍 thank you sameer 😘
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Oh my just noticed. Thanks man.n
Ridwan sounds smart and sophisticated, the other guy seems like he has no clue what he’s talking about. just saying whatever’s convenient
“do you think its worthy to be on the internet” uh so if a man does something wrong its okay but if i say he did it, i’m the bad guy. well idc, if a man talks shit i owe him nothing
Bro is the context man
what happened to the sound quality of this ep?
Background should have been more vibrant and bright
Oita to drake baba-👏
Dialogue’s best dialogue.
The pro cancel culture was way too strong against the anti
মাশাআল্লাহ রেদওয়ান এর কথা গুলোতে যুক্তি ছিল and he spoke very well. Where as for the other guy (he just wouldn't stop talking the "qualifications" 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️) anyways overall the video was good 💯
Good video!!
Redwan earned my respect!
My bruh with glass🤣
I’m sorry but I’ve never laughed so hard in a while
bro thinks he lives in a first world country smh
u should make more videos on topics that exist in bangladesh, i dont think ths issue is important enough in our country to be talked about
Fair!
Bro do a red pill and blue pill and call me as the red pill guy. We should talk about andrew tate, the matrix, getting rich and self development.
It should be a little more extended. It was cut brutally.
Culture is best
hmmm
Religion*
@@sahil.93 nation and culture>religion
@@listianomonaldo6952 without Islam our nation and culture wouldn't exist we'd just be a part of India and be oppressed by them like Kashmiris and Gujrat Muslims
@@Masternaldo you are right but. But I'm saying we should give more importance to our country and culture than islam. It's my opinion.

Andrew tate should've been the judge
Useless pointless talk... These things dont apply in bd
i think this goes for all the talk shows in this serious, as much as iti is important to portray the current mindset of the general public, it's also important to bring in people who actually have done research on issues like this, at least for a better discussion. because if you think about it, the person in favor of cancel culture is very well informed here but i won't be able to say the same about the person on the other side of the debate. he pointed out all the wrong reasons why cancek culture is ineffective.
Try to improve sound quality, also, bring people from different area.In this way,you will know that there are more perspective in general people.
on it boss!
