STILL & BOX ALARM: UPGRADE, USUALLY REQUESTED BY A COMPANY OFFICER, BUT CAN BE TRANSMITTED BY THE FIRE ALARM OFFICE FOR MULTIPLE BUILDINGS ON FIRE, SOMEONE TRAPPED IN A BURNING BUILDING, COLLAPSE, LARGE WAREHOUSE FIRE OR SIMILAR; 4 ENGINES, 2 TRUCKS, 1 TOWER LADDER, 1 RIT TRUCK, 1 RIT CHIEF, 1 SQUAD COMPANY, 2 AMBULANCES, 4 BATTALION CHIEFS, 1 DEPUTY DISTRICT CHIEF, 1 COMMAND VAN.
That looks like a Paramedic equipped Engine that was rolling on the initial run, and then they maybe got attached to the Still & Box alarm because of proximity to it. Its good to see some of the apparatus still using the left side (as you look at it) green lights I grew up with, they are phasing those out due to OSHA saying red/blue is the most visible.
Luckily they stopped phasing them out and are bring back the green. It appeared to be only the first or so batch of e-ones that had the blue instead of the green. All new rigs have had green now for awhile
Most rigs still have the green lights even the new ones and also they were the third engine on the still due to proximity they made it a three engine still
@@Chicagolandfirevideos I'm glad. If I had to guess, their justification would be that everyone is used to red/green meaning fire equipment in Chicago.
@@connorcosgrove2240 I can't tell what company he was on but it looked like 125 which was third engine to the still so they got diverted off of medical for more important call IE the fire
You got a ride along? Awesome. Also, catch up on Chicago Fire and PD. The finals will rock your world and not in a good way.

@@Chicagolandfirevideos just wondering if they responded to a medical call at first and then got diverted to the still and box or something like that
