Yea this talk rlly woke me up in other contextes where i'd get fed with praise so i just stop grinding and start being lazy since im already fed with all this ego that im the best and that no one can top me. I used to play safe but now thanks to papa Nidhogg I'm brave enough to invade my father's jungle to deny him camps so than next time he ganks my mum he is underleveled and doesn't have enough armor pen to get the job done, thanks Erik x

I have a genuine question. How do kids have this much time to play games? I remember being 12, 13, 14 (not that long ago) and I did not have the time to play games for 4+ hours a day. Simply being in band or an after school sport puts a huge dent into that time. Do kids that hit high ranks, say just diamond or higher, just not do other things?

The dark seal he got at the start of the game helped him a lot with the clearspeed

personaly i play to improve i do it on every game i played i just want to hit the best rank and that's where i found my fun as tryharding but League is the most hard game i actually played not only because of the gameplay but because of the player who's gonna insult you for 10 min because of one mistake they are ruining my mental and the team mental as well
idk why but everytime i get a lead, i just throw it away when I make one bad play
The overlay is cool for items but everything else looks a bit trippy. I'm a big fan of crisp outlines so I cant say I like it personally.

Step one: Acquire nidhogg grindset
i only play normal but if i were to climb i would climb to see which rank is my limit
I was one of the people believing if i would get to platinum i would be happy and fullfiled but after i climbed all the way to diamond from gold i was fairly disapointed. the game doesnt stop there you become greedy to fill your ego meter and want the next rank. also eventually you dont feel fullfiled by anything and just want more elo thats how it goes, so just have fun in the game and stomp some noobs on the way thats my take.
The League ranked system only really works, if most people cannot or only barely climb over a certain threshold and still play many games. If every player either climbed to challeneger fast or quit after 200 games of stagnation, there wouldn't be a reliably player strength (=elo) attributable for each player, cause there is no real baseline value to compare to. At least that's how I would imagine it.
Now I don’t play any multiplayer games because none of it is fun for me xD
i play minimal ranked, i play to have fun and norms is way more fun to me than ranked. people ask what rank i am all the time and when i say bronze they are surprised but its like i might MIGHt have 25 ranked games a season lol and i usually tilt in them so nah, play games for fun
I heard that Mike Tyson's coach used to be really harsh with his words around him and would force him into menial taks to counter act all the praise and ego he would get from the media and humble him. It's a shame he died before Mike became world champ.
I can have fun even if I lose, but it's still pretty annoying to loss vs a twitch jungle, because all your teammates fell to the cheese.
I play ranked to climb. Not to feel good about some stat but to get more coordinated games. I hate those Gold (and lower) junglers showing botlane while everyone is grouping Baron for example. I don't like random coinflip dives, teammates wasting crucial abilities before a fight starts or never grouping. I want a basic sense of coordination.
I hope that's expressed in an understandable way.

Besides having the time, children also learn faster in general. Their brains are more wired to learn in those ages. So I think they even climb faster than the average 21 year old.
