All right...I admit that I was too hard on this program. I still think it's silly though but very creative and respectable. Oh and Mr. Jonathan Ross if you get this message...I just want to say thanks for respecting Steve Ditko's wishes for declining your interview. That shows moral character in a journalist and for that...you've earned my trust.
@CONKER17 he's still one of the best people involved with the show. he directed the two most well animated episodes of season 2, episodes that looked so good they were put together as a movie in the west because they pretty much looked like one. Ultimately though Lupin isn't that Miyazaki-esque of a series, what with the comedic sexual harassment and the bad stuff that all the characters do, you can tell Miyazaki wanted to make Lupin more knightly and good than usual in his movie.
@donnk I think Kurosawa san is the greatest film director from all history, but I wouldn't say he is without criticism as nothing in the universe is perfect. I think Miyazaki san's films are amazing but just a bit too cheesy for me, okay!
the interviewer's japanese accent is so painful for me to hear, i can't decide which is more painful, hearing him say thank you in japanese or 'mononokey'.
TOTORO is best, MONONOKE is second, SPIRITED AWAY third. Howl's is nowhere near as good as everyone says it is. The only good parts are the witch of the waste and calcifer
