They’d have died for sure. And not just because they weren’t strong enough either. Fighting actual battles is another way to get much stronger. Especially over 2 years. Just look at Luffy’s progression from the very beginning of One Piece all the way up to the time skip. The problem is that Luffy is too stupid to know what battles to avoid while he’s getting strong. He was too dumb to realize the consequences of messing with Celestial Dragons and his crew got bodied for it. He was too dumb to understand how strong Yonkou are and he just finished getting bodied and thrown in jail for it. The other Supernovas who went right into the New World had enough sense to navigate around those new threats according to their ability (except maybe Kidd, but he lost an arm on the way and he’s beat up and in jail too). Luffy only knows how to go “through” and unfortunately his strength doesn’t quite match his temperament or bravado.

Maybe crocodiles secret is that Ivankov used one of his hormones to remove his Haki. That’s why he couldn’t use haki against luffy when they fought. He also set up shop too close to the beginning of the grand line even for a warlord. It also explains why he doesn’t want anyone to know, if people knew he couldn’t use haki then he would be in a crapload of trouble, especially in the new world.
I'd love to see a discussion how the other Supernovas learned Haki, especially Kings Haki for Kidd. The Strawhats basically had it very casual with their teachers, but what about the others? As we know there is no internet in the One Piece world and you could just google Haki.
I think a likely scenario (because of plot armor) is that they catch an ass whopping from someone, and then stumble upon Shanks. Shanks beats it into their heads that they can't challenge a Yonkou yet, and then he has the Straw Hats work under him until they get stronger. I think I'd like to see that.

Just something to consider, but Jimbei still felt indebted to Luffy before the timeskip, and Fishman Island would not have been allied yet in all likelihood with Big Mom, so Jimbei might have joined the crew and gone with them straight from Fishman Island in this scenario, and he could start instructing the crew on haki, or at least make their travels through the New World easier. Until they ran into Kaido.
on tekking there is a chance they would running into the white beard pirate( before/after) pay back war. luffy would be able to say his last goodbye to ace and the straw hat could be train by marco( and hopefully others), given different means of fighting and zoahis a move island, luffy is lucky enough to make it there
You know what tekking. I've been watching you for over a year now, and have watched tons of your videos. I just this month started watching one piece. I have watched a ton of your discussion videos and manga reviews of current arcs like wano ect. And just now actually deciding to give one piece a shot. And I am loving it, I'm at alabasta atm with crocodile. Atm the straw hats are fighting their appropriate counter parts, Zoro vs Mr.1 ect.
Or they could stumble upon Zunesha by sheer accident, figure out there's something on it's back, meet and fight with forces of Zou. If would end in a sound defeat, but Chopper might be able to talk them out of it and they could become friends with them. Two years younger Carrot might still want to join the crew for any other reason. Chopper might even learn electro if he stayed a little longer.
Because BIgggu MAmmu has the best servailance in the OP world, she would have found Sanji anywhere he was and sent for him with the threat of killing Chef daddy if he doesn't come to her as they did in Giant Elephant country.
You know I honestly almost think that if the 2-year time skip never happened and the straw hats traveled to Fishman Island. Then Luffy would have gotten in a huge fight with big mom and her forces when they were there claiming the territory after Whitebeard. Where Luffy would have gotten his ass beat and a 2-year time skip would have happened anyway for him to get strong enough to get out of the situation. I think it was bound to happen
I think most of them wouldn't have grown a lot more. Luffy was the strongest on the island, so he didn't have anyone to train with anymore. Same with Usopp. For Chopper, Franky and Nami, I don't know how much more they could learn where they were, but probably not enough to justify 3 more years. Sanji had beaten all 99 newkama masters and got their recipes. Only Brook, Zoro and Robin could keep growing with what they were doing.
What if Luffy was a revolutionary? We've seen kids be trained at Baltigo so Dragon could have left Luffy with all the other kids instead of Garp taking Luffy to Goa Kingdom with Dadan. We would actually know a lot more of Koala and Luffy would still know Sabo since he still would have run away. We've seen the revolutionaries restock with Koushirou so Zoro may have become a revolutionary as well while keeping his swordsman dream.
I thought you were gonna go down the road where Luffy doesn’t punch Charlos and alert Kizaru, then the Straw Hats just cost their ship and leave. Or Luffy does punch Charlos and they just avoid Kizaru and the Pacifista at Sabaody. Luffy doesn’t have to go to Marineford because he still doesn’t know about Ace, since granny Nyon never told Luffy.
Simple answer: Oda would have created a buffer antagonist before fighting with the Yonkous themselves. These buffer antagonist could have continued to be Warlords, maybe Younkou commanders or lesser ranks (similarly to what happened to other Supeenovas), or notable New World Pirates/Marines.
I think jimbe would join luffy til sab. and then go to fishmen w/o luffy cause the time itd take for everyone to make it back. Prob take a few mnths for that. But once they hit the new world, im sure a few of the straw hats could possibly die. Luffy prob still be alive but things would be very different. Prob the islands we know now wouldnt be the ones we see. Theyd prob avoid kaido and big mom for a long time after that. At least til sanji gets tracked down. If timeskip didnt happen then the straw hats would have plot armor, and everyone in new world would be much weaker to fit the straw hats level so its the same eitherway
Tekking good video but I was expecting more. You should continue this scenario because the Straw Hats would be there for other events such as Akainu VS Aokiji or The Payback War as well as other potential Alliances with Supernovas.
Either I want luffy to awaken his fruit or Get something on his conquerors or something in this wano arc. Want the fruit more. But if it’s just gonna be like katakuri and doflamingo I’m gonna be disappointed kind of. Feel like oda should take a different approach other than a rubber world or rubber donuts like katakuri.
They might have ended up meeting Urouge on the Lightning Island and then allying with them Imagine they all go to Totto Land together and and a pretty crazy fight with all of them in Totto Land, it might actually be pretty cool to see that all happening

The will of D granted luffy all of his sensory powers and he will lead everyone to a new age. woah dude but why have a dark ending for no reason? the whole lesson of One Piece is too be free and reach your dreams no matter what and that type of ending would just spoil it’s story I fell in love with the story because it had Luffy stand up to anyone no matter who got in his way he always kept going without looking back.

Crocodile's real secret before the 2 year time skip: I think Crocodile was Gol Roger's son. At least one of two of them. Gol Roger was probably in his 30's when Ace was born. Roger and Dragon could possibly have a connection to each other since Dragon appeared at the execution. The Revolutionary Army took him for a very short time. Croc and Ace share similar physical traits. Also Crocodile was scared when Ivankov mentions he has a secret past which is why Croc begged Ivankov to keep quite so he won't be put into the same situation as Ace. At Marineford, Crocodile first saves Ace from dying the second time but couldn't the third time because he was tangling with Doffy. Then later he saves Luffy. Garp didn't know about Crocodile because his birth wasn't put into the same situation as Ace's. Lastly, Crocodile wants to keep a low profile from the World Government like he did in Alabasta and like he is doing right now in the One Piece story since the Marineford Arc which is why we hardly see him anymore. Also another thing with Roger is that he probably cared more for Ace because he realized that he messed up as a father with his first son by being a deadbeat. Now the Will of D still lives. Sir D. Crocodile!
You should make a video on theories of what kind of things some devil fruits could do awakened. Like with Eneru's Gorro Gorro No Mi. If it does create a never ending thunderstorm, could Eneru use the lightning clouds to zap him (since he's a Lightning Man) and basically have infinite energy, or at least use stronger attacks? What would the Pika Pika No Mi do to the climate? And once Luffy gains awakening, since it most likely will change the area around him into rubber, he would call it Bounce House, and jump all over the place while his enemies try to keep balance.

Well I'm referring to their final powerups. I'm quite sure Nami won't eternally have Zeus. And so far objects have only been shown with zoan type fruits. But it'd be cool if Nami's tact ate Monet's fruit so she could work with ice and snow too.

Maybe crocodiles secret is that Ivankov used one of his hormones to remove his Haki. That’s why he couldn’t use haki against luffy when they fought. He also set up shop too close to the beginning of the grand line even for a warlord. It also explains why he doesn’t want anyone to know, if people knew he couldn’t use haki then he would be in a crapload of trouble, especially in the new world.

I think a likely scenario (because of plot armor) is that they catch an ass whopping from someone, and then stumble upon Shanks. Shanks beats it into their heads that they can't challenge a Yonkou yet, and then he has the Straw Hats work under him until they get stronger. I think I'd like to see that.

Just something to consider, but Jimbei still felt indebted to Luffy before the timeskip, and Fishman Island would not have been allied yet in all likelihood with Big Mom, so Jimbei might have joined the crew and gone with them straight from Fishman Island in this scenario, and he could start instructing the crew on haki, or at least make their travels through the New World easier. Until they ran into Kaido.
That last note Tekking did at the end was beautiful.
on tekking there is a chance they would running into the white beard pirate( before/after) pay back war. luffy would be able to say his last goodbye to ace and the straw hat could be train by marco( and hopefully others), given different means of fighting and zoahis a move island, luffy is lucky enough to make it there

You know I honestly almost think that if the 2-year time skip never happened and the straw hats traveled to Fishman Island. Then Luffy would have gotten in a huge fight with big mom and her forces when they were there claiming the territory after Whitebeard. I think most of them wouldn't have grown a lot more. Luffy was the strongest on the island, so he didn't have anyone to train with anymore. Same with Usopp. For Chopper, Franky and Nami, I don't know how much more they could learn where they were, but probably not enough to justify 3 more years. Sanji had beaten all 99 newkama masters and got their recipes. Only Brook, Zoro and Robin could keep growing with what they were doing.

We've seen kids be trained at Baltigo so Dragon could have left Luffy with all the other kids instead of Garp taking Luffy to Goa Kingdom with Dadan. We would actually know a lot more of Koala and Luffy would still know Sabo since he still would have run away. We've seen the revolutionaries restock with Koushirou so Zoro may have become a revolutionary as well while keeping his swordsman dream.

Simple answer: Oda would have created a buffer antagonist before fighting with the Yonkous themselves. These buffer antagonist could have continued to be Warlords, maybe Younkou commanders or lesser ranks (similarly to what happened to other Supeenovas), or notable New World Pirates/Marines.

I think jimbe would join luffy til sab. and then go to fishmen w/o luffy cause the time itd take for everyone to make it back. Prob take a few mnths for that. But once they hit the new world, im sure a few of the straw hats could possibly die. Luffy prob still be alive but things would be very different. Prob the islands we know now wouldnt be the ones we see. Theyd prob avoid kaido and big mom for a long time after that. At least til sanji gets tracked down. We may not get carrot or jimbe part of the crew either.

Crocodile's real secret before the 2 year time skip:
I think Crocodile was Gol Roger's son. At least one of two of them. Gol Roger was probably in his 30's when Ace was born. Roger and Dragon could possibly have a connection to each other since Dragon appeared at the execution. The Revolutionary Army took him for a very short time. Croc and Ace share similar physical traits. Also Crocodile was scared when Ivankov mentions he has a secret past which is why Croc begged Ivankov to keep quite so he won't be put into the same situation as Ace. At Marineford, Crocodile first saves Ace from dying the second time but couldn't the third time because he was tangling with Doffy. Then later he saves Luffy. Garp didn't know about Crocodile because his birth wasn't put into the same situation as Ace's. Lastly, Crocodile wants to keep a low profile from the World Government like he did in Alabasta and like he is doing right now in the One Piece story since the Marineford Arc which is why we hardly see him anymore. Also another thing with Roger is that he probably cared more for Ace because he realized that he messed up as a father with his first son by being a deadbeat. Now the Will of D still lives. Sir D. Crocodile!

You should make a video on theories of what kind of things some devil fruits could do awakened. Like with Eneru's Gorro Gorro No Mi. If it does create a never ending thunderstorm, could Eneru use the lightning clouds to zap him (since he's a Lightning Man) and basically have infinite energy, or at least use stronger attacks? What would the Pika Pika No Mi do to the climate? And once Luffy gains awakening, since it most likely will change the area around him into rubber, he would call it Bounce House, and jump all over the place while his enemies try to keep balance.
The others Supernovas did fine so Strawhats would too.
