Just keep learning new techniques and practice, collaborating with other artists or producers can really help you expand as well. You got it just keep grinding 👏🏼

do you ever use groove on the drums? and do you have any tips for mixing the 808 and kick? thanks

Groove or the swing tool in fl are typically never necessary for getting a drum bounce, it’s all in the programming. Start with a 2-step hi hat and a clap on the 3 and the 7, and just make adjustments to create unique bounce. For mixing your kick and 808 sidechain them together using a limiter plugin, and play around with the knobs to achieve a clean sound. Hope this helps.

      thank you !
plugins for melodies I usually use - serum, zenology, korg triton, korg m1, omnisphere, monopoly, kontakt
effects - any stock ableton stuff is great, arturia delay eternity, arturia plate, kramer tape, j37, rc-20, valhalla supermassive
