Well actually, Vince kinda said he's not gonna nerf telekinesis
I understand that some people complain that it's kinda busted throughout the gameplay in previous chapters, but for chapter 5, the shards are probably gonna be further apart.
Furthermore, upgrading telekinesis also implies that you are sacrificing skill points on other main abilities
Let's wait to see how Vince forces us to level up other abilities instead in Chapter 5 XD
The thing is magnet is so op u only need that and speed boost so their quite literally no downside maxing out magnet also mascot mayhem is WAYYYYYYY to easy with magnet despite it being the 7th lvl of the game
I see that telekinesis is pretty busted for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd chapter.

They nerfed Telepathy badly, it’s not even worth using that much. Guess they exchanged it for over-tuned Telekinesis

Its not really more challenging without telekinesis. It just simply makes the zone more playable and longer.

@@bird393 honestly. It was the most exciting zone/stage thats been exciting for the whole two years but when it released it was a huge disappointment. But i still love the stage tho somewhat.
Telekenesis I soo overpoverd, like you enter a smaller level, youse it 4-5 times and you completed the zone

I used only telekinesis and telepathy on mascot mayhem and didn't die once. I'm not kidding
If that doesn't speak volume of how broken the magnet is I don't know what.
Edit: to avoid confusion I beat the whole level with just those 2 powers without dying
If you need an even bigger example, I beat Deadly Decadence in three minutes with magnet. Not for S Rank since I was attempting a speedrun at the time, but it was still obnoxious lmao

it'll be more surprising if they don't, and do wonder how they're gonna make a level with that and invisibility in mind
@@JadenFox9 I doubt the Mannequins level will need Vanish at all, since theyre basically blind. But a Telekinesis nerf will be either appreciated or hated, though its for game balancing like they did with the Gold Watchers and buffing the Duckies speed so theyre more intimidating
A theory says that mannequins will find the player through vibrations so the player have to use teleport to get around and use telekinesis to gather as many soul shards.
@@mariatriantafillou6251 the way i always saw it as was similar to Zone 1 in Bearly Buried before getting the Vanish power, being a very stealthy level where using your powers at all could be a detriment instead of a positive. Speed Boost, Teleport, and Telekinesis are all examples of causing vibrations, and since Primal Fear is basically a sonic boom, it could attract more enemies than the other powers. Vanish is useless, so Telepathy would be the only usable power that cant hurt you. Forces people to use it again since its relatively useless

I still don’t like how they nerfed telepathy.
Speed boost: perfectly fine.
Teleportation: fine although personally I think you should be able to use it at least twice considering that you can use it more once you unlock the ability for the first time.
Telepathy: USE TO BE perfectly fine until they nerfed it before you can see a red line surrounding the monsters bodies crystal clear no matter the distance.
Now all you can see are giant red blurs that make it hard to count how many monsters there are in later levels.
Primal fear: personally despite it being the only ability that is somewhat of an offensive weapon against the monsters. The range should be buffed or the cooldown should be shorter once maxed out.
Telekinesis: the only ability that I actually would consider broken considering is allows you to beat levels insanely quicker than using the speed boost and teleportation combo.
Vanish: perfectly fine however it makes absolutely no sense to why the Joy Joy gang still know where you are when they really shouldn’t.

nah primal fear is in a good spot. telepathy is also like that because of bearly buried.
I feel like in pve games like dark deception, you don't really necessarily need to nerf op powers since you have the option to either completely omit it or nerf it yourself by not maxing it out. To me telekinesis feels like this sort of a legal cheat to help maybe not that good players like me to pass levels that would otherwise be very very difficult.
I have in fact witnessed a very good player pass all levels in one run without deaths without telekinesis, which takes a whole extra hour than his regular speedrun.
I should’ve mentioned this before, but did you notice that all the shards in zone 1 of Torment Therapy are on top of little crosses on the floor?

This might be a tad off topic but I was confused about why the reaper nurses could cloak because it didn't really fit with them thematically, but then while watching this video it clicked. A common problem faced by women who are victims of abuse is feeling *invisible* and being treated like servants. So now they can actually turn invisible, very clever!
That's actually a good point.
I haven't seen anyone bringing that up in discussion and the way you describe would fit them considering they are the victims of men abuse.

Unless the 9th nigtmare is going To have spread apart shards or have a lot of long corridors that are far from eachother wich I really doubt, telekinesis is still going To be a zone killer.

People who are saying this power doesn't need a nerf are absolutely stupid I'm sorry. This power alone is the reason why chapter 4 felt underwhelming to some people. Because they got through the levels in like 15 minutes!

you're stupid, telekinesis is a good power and a power that helps other players to don't rage quit the levels, cause yes the levels are difficult without it. Increase the previous maps of chapter 4 would be a good thing, instead of nerf telekinesis, cause chapter 5 without telekinesis will be worse, i believe that. But i don't think you have empathy to understand other players... that's sad.
It's not fault of telekinesis that the maps, especially MM maps are incredibly small.

previous levels... idk if you saw but previous levels don't have telekinesis, that means the previous doesn't count with telekinesis when they were making
