Jin Tao, a pet owner in China, finds himself constantly ‘spooned’ and squeezed by Honey, his male golden retriever.
Jin decided to build a crib for Honey, but continues to jostle for sleeping space with his dog. Jin recorded and shared the footage online, causing Chinese social media to react to the heartwarming moments.

He's a beauty, with a heart as gold as its fur. In fact, I'm quite happy the others didn't want him, cause Honey now has the best hooman for him. It's a love story and that were meant to be. I wish them health and happy life for the longest. 🙏

Same. I used to hug my dog all the time (especially in winter months) but he's been gone for almost a year now, I still miss him at night time.
I still miss my dog almost 10yr later now. I cried everyday for almost 7 yrs. Now I cry sometimes for him, but I do still miss him. Someday I’ll adopt someone else, but for now I couldn’t so instead I walk rescued dogs in honor of my Romeo ❤️. It hurts still but you do get use to not having them around, but that bond will never be forgotten. ✌🏼

I'm so sorry. I lost my two cats within months of eachother in 2017. One to fatty liver disease and the second to bladder cancer. No amount of vet care helped. They loved me ,I loved them and they loved eachother. They were my children. My heart is still not "normal". They take a piece of your soul when they go. I cant imagine what I would do without my chihuahua. Hes grumpy but he spoons too. Animals add life to our life. We need them. They dont need us. How they end up loving unconditionally I dunno. But they teach me new things everytime I run into others. Maybe one day there will be a little face you come across that will just warm you a little. Enough to try again. Every dog owner knows that when your dog decides to cuddle up to you while sleeping, you’ve reached heaven. It’s the best feeling on earth that this fuzzy little creature feels safe enough to sleep in my presence and allow me to keep it safe. A c. I have a dog who is turning 8 soon. Since she was two she lived with my brothers because of family/living issues. Recently I ended up in a situation where I can keep her. I cry all the time cause my dog means so much and i feel like im going to end up hugging her to death. I love how she always sleeps next to me and crawls on me when I’m awake. As a person who’s dog just passed away... Snuggle with your dog any chance you get. Even if you are in an uncomfortable position. Because there will come a time when your dog is no longer here and one of the things you will want to do but never can, is just snuggle with your dog one last time.

A friend of mine asked me if I wanted his 7 year old dog. I asked why he was giving the dog away. He said since we had our child, we just don’t have time to spend with him. I told him he was crazy! How could you give away a member of your family after 7 years? Then I realized the dog deserves a better home so I now have a new family member and boy is the doggie happy now!

I understand that dog is family but I also understand some circumstances that your friend might had struggled with spending time with the dog. But it was nice of him to consider you for taking his dog since he thought of you as someone reliable and responsible. It probably gives him relief that you have his dog now instead of giving the dog away to some stranger or at the shelter.
That's not crazy. That's called being responsible. People who do that shouldn't be denigrated, they should be commended for their integrity. Would you rather an owner keep a dog that they can't care for as well as they would like to? Plus there may have been other underlying reasons, like finances.
