You're leaving like 90% of the loot behind 😄 Also. When the pirate ship landed, there was a computer by the windows where you saw it. You can turn on robots that pirates have turned off and make them protect you. They do die pretty fast though if you don't engage right away and help them.

I played over 30 hours now and I gotta say the game is a slow burn, but in a good way. At first I was kinda bored, but the game kept getting better the more I played and just today I've experienced some of the most immersive visual storytelling I've seen in quite a while and it wasn't even a quest or anything, I just explored an oilrig kinda thing on one planet and what I found there was so eerie. And yes the game does get better after the first playthrough - I'm not yet through but I'm far enough in the story to understand why that's gonna be the case. Just the aspect you build your ship and in outer space you can dock on a ship, exit your ship go through your ship to get your weapons and then board the enemy ship take them out and you can steal it is just nothing we’ve seen in gaming even though you can’t fly through atmosphere, you almost stop caring because even the portion you are in space the fact that it’s live and not spawned, leaving your ship in space you can literally see the live world outside the window and your ship can get blown up I think, that’s details. I’d keep going but just the fact the we actually get a game that’s long and gives as a bunch of quest and other world to do, we’re actually getting our moneys worth, how many times I played a game instead of feeling that developers really cared about prolonging the game it more felt like “okay let’s see how much mission contents do we need to give them before the gamers feel satiesfied” Starfield developers didn’t do that, they just said will make the best game possible and we’ll try weather they’re over satiesfied or not, that to me is not a 7/10
Imagine if ROCKSTAR dev this game. Would be freakin awesome. Imagine you jump to a planet where you visit GTA 5 kind of world, then another planet to westworld of RDR2 and etc.. This project opens up to a whole new universe into the world of online gaming. Or plan out to collab with cyberpunk and have another world... Man, the ENDLESS EXPLORATION would be so damn EPIC. You will definitely NOT get bored.
My First thoughts in entering an unknown ship, is why you have to kill the crew? How about cooperate with the crew? It sort of typically paints a picture of current human morality, each man for himself. Looks great game, i really hope its not another No Mans Sky in another fancy wrapper.

13:46 That an SC-65a Solerna. It doesn't exist in this universe yet but where I come from it's a workhorse. Used for short range, to long range(depending on jump drive mode[The newer model(SC-72u Solerna [outfitted with both jump drives] is capable of both long and short hauls without a refit]) exploration, rescue, transport, name it. Think Douglas C-47 or the B-17 Flying Fortress. Similar tasking. It needs refits depending on purpose if you don't simply buy the latest. If you want to mine and haul heavy elements you're looking at at least a year in space-dock or dry docks. The great thing is that if you upgrade it's capable(Or just buy the latest.) of all the tasks, except it's heavier so you make different calculations and corrections depending on mission. Incredible machine really.
Also, explosive weapons such as weapons with black power have essentially been outlawed by this point. There are many different atmospheres and some of of them are hydrogen heavy. So mostly what you see at this point are acoustic weapons that are safe for pretty much any universal region, planet, etc. They can be tuned to kill or just know a person or bio-entity out. Sorry everybody, the future isn't like Star Wars with lasers and lightsabers. Sound, water and focused pressurized air and gases are mostly use as weapons and tools due to this flammability risk. My favorite is the "Zisper". It won't give but it packs a punch and will leave a nasty bruise(it's a non focused hydro weapon. Picture a tennis ball like projectile made from water or whatever fluid is handy).
because you spent money on the game unlike the rest of us who get it off game pass enjoy what the free game is worth while you’re complaining that you didn’t get your moneys worth lmao
Loved the last video. I'm still waiting to play, and the boredom and waiting is killing me. I'd love to watch you wonder aimlessly across a planet in space.
Believe it or not, the most acuurate gun in the game... is a Russian Dragunov sniper rifle. You have to complete a specific rifle in the Freestar Rangers questline though.
Interesting how you played early in the video at the outpost. A dead man on a toilet bothered you enough to move the body, but you find a lone survivor, choose to loot a couple bodies before talking to her, and end up killing her. I would have left the dead guy on the toilet and talked to the survivor when I first saw her. I still might have killed her though.
Olli: " They didn't look like pirates" ...that's because you're the pirate stealing ships xDDD Also, most of the planets are procedurally generated, but they generated from surface maps from what I can understand... so you CAN technically move around a planet and the coolest thing i've done is found a small island I was able to land at on a planet :) "I love it when they try and crawl away and you get to shoot them in the butt and they explode" -Olli x.x dead
I've been playing this game for about 20 hours and I'm completely glued in. It's getting mixed reviews but I personally think it's an incredibly fun and intriguing game. The main story starts off like a typical cliche sci fi trope story of this day and age, but they developed it into something far more involved and interesting as the story progresses. I haven't completed the main quest yet, that's all I've been really focusing on, but the story just keeps me wondering and yearning for the next piece of the puzzle, that coupled with tight gunplay and great voice acting it's very underrated by half of the reviews. However they're are some cringey things I've noticed like how my male character can flirt with another male character as a dialogue option, just very jarring and creepy. Nothing wrong with peoples choice of sexual orientation but keep it out of the game yikes, lol.
Not sure about that gunplay. When crosshair is stationary the laser is firing everywhere except the location of the crosshairs. NPC do not look much better than SC enemies. At the end when the guy walked up behind you with his axe and let you turn around to shoot him in the face with the shotgun.
Hey Olli, just a quick comment, those items on 11:27 and 13:25 have a suspicios red icon. Maybe you should investigate those markings meaning, they seem rather dangerous :). (I do know the meaning, just dont want to apoil aniything related, hope it helps tho)
So finish watching. And I'm kinda disturbed the guy just threw the uranium on the floor. Like for 1, I can say with utmost certainty that materials will be important. 2 I don't imagine loose cargo is good. 3 uranium is radioactive. That's like really not good to laying around.
I believe that you can access your ship storage no matter where you are as long as it's the same planet. You should always loot ammo because it's expensive.
This looks so painfully similar to Fallout 4's gameplay. Its insane they got that engine for almost a decade now and they haven't done that much improvements. Haven't played but I already see the similar flawed physics and gunplay FO4 had, kinda dissapoting
After seeing all the gameplay I needed to see to decide that I will not be buying this game. Confirmed my suspicions that this game is fallout reskinned, loot n shoot. And I mean come on, no free flight through the stars in a space game? This is definitely a Bethesda game, that's for sure.

I’d keep going but just the fact the we actually get a game that’s long and gives as a bunch of quest and other world to do, we’re actually getting our moneys worth, how many times I played a game instead of feeling that developers really cared about prolonging the game it more felt like “okay let’s see how much mission contents do we need to give them before the gamers feel satiesfied” Starfield developers didn’t do that, they just said will make the best game possible and we’ll try weather they’re over satiesfied or not, that to me is not a 7/10
@@justindaniels411 I put the comment up there
Imagine if ROCKSTAR dev this game.
You can drag bodies. Hold A (gamepad) or E on keyboard a little bit longer than you would usually do. Found this on REDDIT.
Did not try it yet 😅
game pad ?
@@elileubner949 Or better known as the Controller 😉
Just passively dropping a rock of uranium large enough to go critical, no big deal.
This is the upload i needed thanks olli.
I love this game just hope they fix the stuttering and audio cutting/delay on the pc (steam) version
oli: "i need to know what happened here!" kills the only person there that can talk, " i really want to know what happened here!"
My First thoughts in entering an unknown ship, is why you have to kill the crew? How about cooperate with the crew? It sort of typically paints a picture of current human morality, each man for himself. Looks great game, i really hope its not another No Mans Sky in another fancy wrapper.
Theres something so nice about watching an guy get chased down my aliens on monsters so relaxing .
i ment and monsters not on monsters im dumb
YES, finally someone stealing a ship. Amazing.
"how do you keep an idiot in suspense" *closes the dialogue before I'm done reading* that's how.😂😂😂
That was so terrifying when you stepped in front of the AI and it attacked you. Unbelievable!!!
Waiting for your next video. I’m playing vicariously through you until I get it next week. Lol
"I can't let you die like that, bro."
*picks up and moves the already dead body*
LMFAOOO 🤣🤣🤣
Finally playing something else!!!!

Please try play new games to keep your channel relevant!
First put into regular service in year 2171.
*black powder
Sorry, I meant to say "knock out" and "won't kill".
This game is so good I didn't realize I was doing side quest and not the main quest lol
Me too bro I put 18 hours of side quests 😂😂
I cant believe you didnt ask what the strange murder lady was talking about. Now I have to find that place to know what that was all about lol
Can't wait to play it tomorrow, It'll be a fun change from SC for the time being.
already playing for 3 days .
because you spent money on the game unlike the rest of us who get it off game pass enjoy what the free game is worth while you’re complaining that you didn’t get your moneys worth lmao
@@elileubner949 is game pass free?
Loved the last video. I'm still waiting to play, and the boredom and waiting is killing me. I'd love to watch you wonder aimlessly across a planet in space.
It’s a pretty game… but still not sure if I’ll get it yet
I can't afford starfield yet, so i'm redownloading no mans sky to keep the hype up
05:05 Now that's what I call "Bethesda experience".
Believe it or not, the most acuurate gun in the game... is a Russian Dragunov sniper rifle. You have to complete a specific rifle in the Freestar Rangers questline though.
I bought the game but I’m traveling so I cannot play it yet but I love your excitement Olli and commentary as always! ❤
One more day to go - and I'm on three consecutive 12hr shifts ☠️
Olli: " They didn't look like pirates"
...that's because you're the pirate stealing ships xDDD
Also, most of the planets are procedurally generated, but they generated from surface maps from what I can understand... so you CAN technically move around a planet and the coolest thing i've done is found a small island I was able to land at on a planet :)
"I love it when they try and crawl away and you get to shoot them in the butt and they explode" -Olli
x.x dead
Olli absolutely refusing to take all the ammo is extremely triggering.
To bad that the moons that you see in the heavens nothing but empty placeholder spheres. With no gravity.
Strange, this exact same base was loaded with pirates for my gameplay.
Next one please. Brilliant. I get to play it Wednesday. Cannot wait
It'll be cool to watch you start messing around with building an outpost
Yaaaay more random adventures!!!
He should live-stream him playing the game
its a pity you can't land and take off by yourself(
The Encampment made me think Starship Troopers.
"After you've finished the game" means after you've completed the main story
Hey Olli, just a quick comment, those items on 11:27 and 13:25 have a suspicios red icon. Maybe you should investigate those markings meaning, they seem rather dangerous :). (I do know the meaning, just dont want to apoil aniything related, hope it helps tho)
the fact you cant dive in water has ruined it for me. i dreamt about exploring inside and under oceans on other planets bt i guess thats not possible
Love the series
Don't forget to clean the bodies in the ship
So finish watching. And I'm kinda disturbed the guy just threw the uranium on the floor. Like for 1, I can say with utmost certainty that materials will be important. 2 I don't imagine loose cargo is good. 3 uranium is radioactive. That's like really not good to laying around.
I can already see the modding potential
Feels a lil like no man's sky so far so I would be all over that
nice to see people enjoying the game
I believe that you can access your ship storage no matter where you are as long as it's the same planet. You should always loot ammo because it's expensive.
More importantly ammo has 0 mass so you can carry unlimited amounts with no weight penalty.
Olli give us more , you rock man
is it worth it? I mean, do you enjoy the game?
This looks so painfully similar to Fallout 4's gameplay. Its insane they got that engine for almost a decade now and they haven't done that much improvements. Haven't played but I already see the similar flawed physics and gunplay FO4 had, kinda dissapoting
But u haven’t played
@@dreadlocsamurai4241 that's why I said "looks" and "see"
Please go to New Atlantis, join the UC Vanguard and do the first mission. I promise you it will be worth it
Tjis game is best game ever. I will probably not even need to buy another game in like a long time
The AI seems really dull and boring. We are in 2023, why do NPCs fight like it's Cod2?
Yeah it doesn't look very challenging when they just punch and shoot the air
Are there rovers on the ship that you can use to move around a planet?
I tell my kids this is Grounded 2
This game is going to make me buy an Xbox
so this game is like call of duty but out of map experience? with Halo 2 story line
Question to you all:
Buy now? Or wait a month or more?
its like andromeda mass effect with x4 foundation like
i love how you totaaly just executed everyone and could just steal there shit
so is starfield just fallout 4 in space? if so, i will get it.
oh good@pointlessratrace7525
After seeing all the gameplay I needed to see to decide that I will not be buying this game. Confirmed my suspicions that this game is fallout reskinned, loot n shoot. And I mean come on, no free flight through the stars in a space game? This is definitely a Bethesda game, that's for sure.
LETS FOOOKING GOOOOO...
Is it fun going in and out of a planet using cutscenes like its 2005?
I had no idea you vould drag boddies around, can you make a pile of them like the sadwiches?
Think Bathesda need to move to Manchester and help Chris out with SC ya think Olli?
In real people are being like that character in an alien planet
Imagine having multiplayer and together with thousands of people explore bilions of planets and fight eachother
So how are you finding "No Man's Skyrim" so far?
games a masterpiece love it
Olli do a ship tour
every game i search on youtube for crafting spaceships and weapons and upgrades...i end up in most genre i hate the most...fucking shooting games.
*cries in PS5*
More of these please!!
So, all of space to explore and we just like, kill strangers and loot their stuff?
