- (From Season 6, Episode 3 of Airline)
A group of passengers land to find out that their bags have not made it onto the flight and they are not happy about it.
Why did that one guy put his car keys in his checked bag? Keep valuables with you!
Thoughts?
Who the hell puts their car keys in their check-in luggage??? Yeah, I'd be pissed if they lost my luggage but I ALWAYS keep valuable like keys, wallet (with everything in it), laptop, documents etc etc etc in my carry on.
billiejbob couldn't agree more.. I have travelled all over the world. I just cannot imagine what goes through these idiots heads
billiejbob IKR. Always have keys in my pocket until security take it out then back in my pocket.
billiejbob I know right. Who in their right mind puts valuables and keys in checked in luggage. I always put stuff like that in my hand luggage.
I put car keys, house keys, credit cards, passwords for everything written in full details, bank account detail, and various other sensitive information in the check-in luggage. After all, if you can't trust some random underpaid strangers, who can you trust?
billiejbob seems a lot of them have left their common sense with their luggage lol 😆
The guy who ran the instant he heard about the luggage issue is definitely a highly experienced flier. He probably already had his form submitted and was on a taxi home while everyone else is STILL shouting at the airport staff. LMAO...
And he got exactly the same speed of remedy as everyone else.
I used to work as booking assistant for a municipal transportation service - basically a glorified taxi switchboard/dispatch center. Trouble is, we only took the bookings and passed them on to the relevant taxi company, but we had eff-all idea whether there'd actually be a car available at that time: our systems was a mediocre Telnet platform a la the 1980s, which only told us that the booking had been received. Whatever happened to it later on was anybody's guess. Then a certain Cold 2.0 kicked in and we could no longer car-pool people, and as we already had a relatively small quota with the taxi companies, it didn't take long before we started running out of cars (i.e. the brilliant platform would just decline the trip and tell us to enter a later time - fortunately, often it was enough to push the time by 5-10 mins). One old fart was upset that he had to wait 30 mins instead of 20. I tried placating with him, saying that only 10 mins more during rush hour, where the number of vehicles is heavily rationed, was still a pretty good deal. He'd have none of it. I was to get him a car within 20 mins or "find someone who's smarter and can do it, then!". We went around in circles for 6-7 mins until I finally had enough and said, "Look, you've been raving on so long about this now that we're close to said 20 mins anyway! I guess it was your interesting way to bring down the wait time. However, I'm not going to repeat myself an umpteenth time. Your car will be there in 23 minutes. Have a nice day!" ---- and then I hung up and took a break.
And he don’t have to drag his bag home, delivered to you.
Happened to me I was grateful.

Car keys in checked-in luggage..lol..amazing!!
What a pleb
right? And he talks to them like they're the idiots lol
Ian, the Dunning Kruger society member!
I know. Why? Makes no sense.
Just silly. I took a trip about two years ago and didn't dare think about putting my keys or wallet in my check-in bags
...Because stuff like this can happen!!
I’d be pissed too but I wouldn’t be yelling at this poor woman who has nothing to do with it.
I didn't hear any yelling just passenger concern for their luggage. The ground staff lady was their only point of contact with the company. I do think Easy Jet should have told the passengers before take off, then those concerned could have deplaned. The only reason the airline flew and kept quite was for their own profit.
@@TheByard your an idiot
@@sensarmy Please explain
No it wasn't personally this woman's fault but she is there representing the company and has the job to be the person the passengers have to speak to about the mess the company has made. I've flown easyjet and the staff can be nice enough but they as a company the problems they have with seating young children without adults, efficiency, time keeping and professionalism doesn't surprise at all.
She is the company supervisor so she has to take the heat and the abuse too
What will blaming her get you? It's like blaming the waitress for the bad quality of the food you get.
Which happens all the time.
True, but the waitress in your analogy is the customer service front for the company, you often can’t speak to the owners/managers or whoever else is actually responsible.
I don’t kick off with frontline people but I’ll definitely seek to get redress via them.
Why are they upset with her????? And they keep saying " you" . "You" shouldn't have taken off...ect. ECT.. wow it is not her fault! Come on people, be reasonable.
Some people (like these) are real real dumb
@@weps8983 One hint: they fly EasyJet. That alone says something. Over on the other side of the Atlantic, passengers who fly a similar version called Southwest Airlines are NO better. They and these people are flying ONLY because they're cheap. They don't care about aaaanything else. The ones who shout "I'll never fly EasyJet again!"?? I"ll say "Well, see you tomorrow since I KNOW you'll be back tomorrow for another flight!" So gullible....😁😂😄😅😆
Working in airline complaints I ("you") am personally blamed for late check-ins, delays, moves, even their overseas transfers not arriving. Always me as an individual who took their money or didn't let them know of the queues. They're not in control of it, so the first person that has anything for them gets it all heaped on them so it can not be their fault as soon as possible. They can't handle the notion they're not perfect, they're stupid
Been called a c-nt before when they booked the wrong day and I didn't let them on for free. I even fully refunded them on their own error and that wasn't enough because they didn't get on the plane. All their fault. His name was Shaun Pemberton
@@largol33t1 sluthwest airlines is a good airline
She represents easyJet. You refers to the company she represents.
I used to work for an airline at a small airport and part of my job entailed lost luggage. Without fail, majority of people would come up to me yelling, frustrated, and angry. I would always let them carry on and vent because I know it's a major inconvenience. Majority of the time after they vented, they would apologize. Of course there were always some nasty ones who tried to belittle me as a way to make themselves feel better. I always made sure those bags were delivered last.
Next stop Carracus
These things happen. NEVER EVER leave your phone, passports, keys, money in check out luggage
Not the staff fault at all.

It’s the camera’s.
You pay for a service ad expect that service to work the way it is supposed to. A classy airline would pay to get the bags back faster
Love how the smart travellers left straightaway to leave their details in order to have their luggage reunited with them, BUT the IDIOTS all identified themselves by staying to argue with her, as if telling her how inconvenient & unacceptable the situation was would make their bags suddenly appear.

4:36 “If passengers lose bags, we have to reunite them.” But the passengers didn’t lose their bags; the airline did. More to the point, it left them sitting in Edinburgh, which is, frankly, even worse. They knew where the bags were and failed to load them on the plane. Even a bargain-basement carrier should be able to recognize the fact that they’ve got only a fraction of the baggage they were expecting.
Very funny video
I've had a lost bag before. It sucks, but it's not the end of the world. People need to chill out. And why would you put your car keys in your checked bag? Anything of top priority should be in your carry-on. Idiot Travelers!
My family went to Hawaii and my luggage didn't arrive at least I got to go shopping in the resort we were staying at ya for me
Got to love the logic here. What is the point of being mad at people at the arrival destination? It's not their fault, they have been lumbered with someone else's mistake and they are obviously trying to remain calm and professional under stress
Agreed it's the same as blaming the messenger
It makes me mad when you realize the crew and staff stay at the airport 24/7 just to get yelled at for something they have no control over.
every job has consequences and you have to deal with it for example .. teachers get yelled at by parents and students
have you never worked in customer service before? because you just described like every customer service job, getting yelled at for things that aren't your fault and have no control over, there will always be angry customers and being a target for them to vent their anger is one of the services you provide that no one ever tells you about until your first day
Each company is not even there 24/7 let alone each employee. And employees represent companies so have to take the feedback. The passengers weren’t rude, just annoyed. They didn’t criticize her personally.
"a lot of the bags didn't arrive"
"how many?"
"umm all of them"
that's fair to everyone
It happened to me on a US Airways flight from Newark to Gatwick when none of the bags were loaded on the plane. The difference is that there was no mass complaining to the staff that told us, we just filled out the form and left. My bag was delivered to me in Guernsey the following day.
I guess that people who check-in their carkeys will not win the nobelprice ….ever….
No bell prise
But they might win the Nobel Prize.
I love when the passengers have a fit! 😂
Honestly I have no sympathy for them. Yes it’s annoying, but for my interrailing trip this summer Dublin airport (yes, I’m calling you out) lost my bag on the outbound trip and didn’t return it to me until I was back, three weeks later. When I got to Stockholm, no-one had any idea where my bag was, or what had happened to it. I spent all my credit ringing the airline to be told ‘it hasn’t been 24 hours yet so goodbye’. All I had with me was my passport, money and a couple of travel books. I spent hundreds of euro buying supplies for the trip and had to buy most of it again while I was there which took hours out of my holiday time. I haven’t received any form of apology from anyone about it, when eventually they found it I had to ring the holding company about a hundred times before they answered in order to persuade them to give it back. To make matters worse, my train in Stockholm was struck by lightning and we were stuck in the middle of nowhere for 14 hours and had to stay in a tiny town in Sweden instead of going to Berlin like we were meant to. We had to pay for new tickets to get to Berlin the next day even though we were told that the costs would be covered by the Swedish train company. Again, no apology. I didn’t once shout or blame anyone during any of this, just asked what I could do about my missing bag and for translation on the Swedish train. By comparison, a four-hour wait for a bag which will definitely arrive is nothing. Shame on them for shouting at the staff on the other end who have done nothing wrong
Your story makes me don't want to travel 🤣
Always pack your carry on as if you are not going to see your bag again for a day or two….saves stress.
CAR KEYS IN A SUITCASE HAHAHAHA
Literally hilarious 😂 Who the hell leaves their car keys in their main bag? Idiots.
All of them explaining their story's as if that's going to make it arrive any faster... or that the staff would personally give a shit 😂😂😂 It's like walking up to a stranger and saying "I'M GOING TO WATCH MY FAIR LADY, I'M ONLY HERE TILL SUNDAY" Cool story WEHHH FEEL SORRY FOR ME
Props to the girl for giving that kind of news to all those people! 🤣
Jeeeesus!!!! She’s got balls!
Love how well spoken the lost luggage guy is and then the brummie strikes up next to him.
This is why I never check in bags on a budget airline, if it's only a short duration trip into Europe.
I'll have all I need in my cabin bag.
With all the money saved from not checking baggage, cheapo flyers can buy a new wardrobe on arrival.
I'd piss myself if someone's bags were left behind for a second time😂😂😂😂

Your comment is plain stupid. Getting your luggage back at the end of the flight is not a luxury.
Are you seriously saying that people shouldn’t expect something as basic as their luggage traveling on the same flight as them because they used a budget airline? 😂🤪
The keys guy wants sympathy because he wants to "go out on friday night" 😂
I would never put any keys in luggage that was getting checked in; my keys are in my hand luggage with me!
I'd be pissed. Can't even argue that. But it's easy to realize that the people there have absolutely NOTHING to do with it.

3:08 bloody hell love, won’t get anywhere with an attitude like that...
No pun intended
I learnt to keep spare clothing and some spare personal items in carry on luggage. Important paperwork, c/c, cash, laptop, go with me.
Why would you put your car keys in your checked luggage??
All the comments across most of the series make fun of the passengers but the clueless ones here are easyJet. Not too sure this program was good PR....
Who even puts car keys in there bag I assume they want their valuables stolen from thieves but other than just why yes I know how it feels to have an missing baggage I had that issue once by my self but turns out my luggage only appeared around 2-3 hours after it was declared missing by airport staff.
2-3 hours isn't bad when you think of the process involved in having your luggage!
"Job Well Done"???? What is SHE smoking? Fail to load almost the whole plane's luggage, take off anyway, and the poor saps have to wait for YOU lot to take another 4 hours to get their bags to them? More like "Job Cocked Up" sweetie.
I have traveled 36 times.
Advice: put the most important things in your hand luggage. Etc: passport, laptop, iPad, charger, KEYS,
We have a saying here in the States - DELTA - Don’t Expect Luggage To Arrive.
Rule number one. Never put your car keys, medicine, toiletries in your checked bag. Try to check a small suitcase with you to go in the overhead. 🥰🥰🥰
Airlines really doesn't have a good system for their passengers. It's amazing how they can organize a bunch of planes in the sky but you can't manage to get bags in storage.
My luggage gets lost all the time! I have learned very well how to pack a carryon. Never put meds or keys in bags. I take pictures of my bags because they need a description. I also check to see if they put tags on my checked luggage. (Once they put 2 tags on 1 bag so the 2nd bag had none and of course it never got on the plane)
When I go on a cruise I make sure my luggage gets placed on the cart. I met some people that never got their bags and had to wait to get to a port to buy everything! They were given bare minimum items by the ship...no underwear!
I always ask myself, what do I need to carryon in case of lost luggage.
Why would you put car keys or money in you’re bags.
They act like she is the one who did it
Agree, why do people leave their keys in checked in bags, have no money with them, AND have no personal responsibility for being late. I think the line that shocked me the most out of these videos is that guy saying “all other planes wait till all passengers arrive before leaving”. Who ties your shoes in the morning buddy?
I left it in by mistake; so i asked my neighbor to give me the spare. Only when i got home i open the bag and there they are!
"wrong lever Bob!! that was not the landing gear....."it's ok, just tell them we forgot to load them, we'll collect them from that field later"
The longer they stood there, bitching at her about something that WASN'T HER FAULT, the longer itll take to fill out the damned forms and then theyll just yell at MORE underpaid workers.
Exactly! I deal with aggravated customers all the time who would rather complain for hours instead of taking two minutes to just fill out paperwork and get their issue resolved
Fair enough this is easyJet’s fault for this situation, but that gentlemen who lives in Birmingham, you shouldn’t leave valuables, even if it’s only car keys in your checked luggage
Three things: Travel Insurance, carry on a change of clothes, don't pack valuable things like car keys and medication in your checked luggage. So much stress can be avoided by those three things. The airline loses your bags, buy some new clothes and bill it to your travel insurance.
Right put all valuables in your carry on luggage along with a spare top and underwear (lol) my partner and I also put our clothes in each others suitcase just incase one bag goes missing 🙂
Travel insurance is a scam. Sum of Revenue is greater than the sum of the layouts.
If anyone can't absorb the financial loss of a few bags and its contents they shouldn't be traveling
The airline pays for replacement clothes when things like this happen, so it’s stupid to bill your insurance.
@@DXmYb 100%. You should have medical cover with as high an excess as you’ll be able to afford. For everything else it’s far cheaper over time to just risk it, unless you’re transporting diamonds or something.
@@icturner23 - Travel insurance covers a lot more than what the airline is required to cover.
2:11 Amazing how people pay $40 for a flight and then start complaining about the airline not providing enough staff or good service in general. Well yes, that's because you're not paying to get an extraordinarily well-coordinated service experience.
They clearly never heard the saying 'you get what you paid for'...
If that's the price they want to charge then that's the price they want to charge it doesn't mean they can provide a shitty service
I'm mortified for the guy who packed his keys. What a dope 😅😅😅
They shouldn't have taken off without the bags, they are right about that.
They have to take off. Flight delays impact more than the one flight. The thing to understand is NEVER check luggage that contains your expensive or important items. Put them in your carry on.
@@wheelie642 That's different if it's one or two bags, but a whole plane full is ridiculous. It has nothing to do with putting stuff in your checked luggage, people need their bags, even the ones in cargo.
Wrong - you affect one flight or several downstream, it's called business get used to it
It's like none of these clowns has ever flown before....
Why would you put your car keys in your main luggage? That's stupid! Hopefully that kid will learn a lesson.
All these people in the comment section acting like they wouldn't be mad the airline left their luggage 🙄

So you put all your essentials in your luggage? Genius.
I put my wife in my luggage once...next thing it turned up on the carosell..my luck is poxed...it was ludicrous

My suitcase was left behind one time after flying from California to Pennsylvania. It was late at night and I was exhausted. When I found out my bag didn’t make it I just cried I was so tired. But what could I do but report it. The airline kept in close contact with me and my luggage was delivered to my front door less than 12 hours later.

It's funny all the people commenting below seem to have taken the side of the corporate...
Even though I know for SURE they would have acted the exact same way if not WORSE if it was their luggage that went missing. Lol!
Wouldn't necessarily say that. I think they're taking the side of the staff member who is only trying to do her best in difficult circumstances that are not her fault at all and is copping the brunt of the passengers' (albeit justifiable) frustration.
Nobody is saying these passengers shouldn't lodge compensation claims or write letters of complaint to EasyJet.
@@paulorocky
No one is saying it's her fault but she is representative of the corporation that has made a total bolloks of their trip so she can take the rap. Because if not her who else!
I tend to find that when these big companies screw up they send in the clueless staff member who can claim ignorance and in doing so avoid accountability. It's a typical corporate strategy designed to shut people up or make them feel guilty for upsetting a young woman who's only "trying to do her job"

@@dawn5227 Can I ask who would you fly with now?
The problem here was outside the airlines control! If you watched the video they told you. Luggage bands are an airport thing. Have you ever been on a flight? Then again Easy maybe a bad company, I avoid European budget airlines if possible.
I hate it how the passengers are angry at her when it wasn’t her fault
“You should have done this”, “You should have done that”
As if she flew the plane 😂
The thing about easyJet is that they don’t allow extra luggage with you, you either check-in your luggage or put it in the cabin but only 1 bag per person. That’s why I always bring a bum bag to semi-hide in under my jacket, and that’s where I put all of my belongings or if I have one or more gadgets or probably a book that I want to carry and cannot fit I would then buy something from the duty free shop, usually I buy a bottle of water and I always, always ask for a carrier bag because the bag would be very useful to put all of your stuffs and staffs don’t even check what’s inside since they know you’ve brought it in the airport and not outside before security.
I have to agree with the passengers on this one. For the plane to take off with over 100 bags not on the plane is total BS.
Who puts their car keys in a checked bag? Anything of any kind of importance go in my carryon!
That is the most British response I’ve ever seen
Customer: what you will do about it?
Airlines: Absolutely nothing..
Luton Airport is cheap. You get what you paid for. Heathrow, Gatwick are better to use.
Ben Davies yes, but low cost airlines don’t fly from there as they’re too dear. Heathrow isn’t served by low cost and Gatwick is by a few. Stansted and Luton are cheaper so that’s why they go there.
Those people had to wait 4 hours to be reunited with their bags, so if that elderly lady could do it then all those younger people could too. That stupid mom with her two kids wouldn't shut up and had to have the last word. Only 5 people waited for their bags and the rest has to get shipped to them, so all those passengers complaining, i don't think your bags is important because they could have waited 4 hours.
well if you put yourself in their shoes what would your reaction have been like ? i would have been angry aswell, why would a plane take off without bags is nonsense, i can understand delays etc but something like this is ludicrous
@@Gencturk92 Interesting reply.
As someone who worked at Heathrow I can 100% assure you that baggage handlers and controllers do not give one single shit about your luggage. They simply don't care if you ever get it back ever again. And they'll throw it around for good measure too.
They're not customer facing so they know they'll never have to answer for their shoddy apathy.
I remember when I did customer services, those who accepted the situation, I pulled heaven and earth to help them, those who just went on or were nasty I purposely went above and beyond to not help them. I didn't hamper, but not helped effectively.

You don't get worked up. Flew from LA to Vancouver. Luggage went on to Japan for a week. Happens.
Flew out of Philly once and the same thing happened, the entire flight landed with no bags. Was such a nightmare!
The passengers do have a point. I would rather there be a delay and get all our belongings on the plane before we leave, than take off with half of the luggage.
