    I couldn't grasp this for weeks and something as simple as a few minute video completely solidified it for me. Our teacher has us use our middle finger for the force and my hands struggle to contort in all the different directions. I will forever use my palm. I can't believe this isn't the standard in all physics corses. My teacher taught us like three different ways to do it and it only confused me even more.
