Have you ever read the lyrics to songs like 'The Lakes' and 'Ivy' and compared them to songs like 'Dear John', 'Call it what you want, 'You're Losing Me', 'Getaway Car', Paper Rings', 'Innocent', 'This is me trying', 'Cardigan' etc. I'm pretty sure you have no idea what have most of these songs are because you don't actually listen to her discography as a whole, she covers almost every genre not just pop. Anyway I suggest you at least Google the lyrics to some of these or have a listen to show how diverse she can be
