I really enjoy this song. I love how Yeosang pretends to chew gum and throw it away. Mingi is awesome. Other songs to react to- Answer Hala Hala Inception The Real Turbulence Black Cat Nero Halloween MV (this was a win for them on Immortal Songs). If you like Mingi-you need to watch Say My Name and Wonderland. He was not in Fireworks but he did record (Mingi took a mental health hiatus) for it and his rap in Fireworks was probably my favorite until Guerrilla. Mingi’s rap in Answer is great too.

As you explore them more you will find they really have a variety of genres but still have elements that make the songs Ateez songs. One of my favorite B Sides is Horizon-there is a dance practice (which IMO is a must see) and a stage but no MV. This song is just different and the dance mesmerizing. Mingi and Hongjoong’s raps are also fire. Win-a B side with a stage posted on KQ is also fire

Mingi definitely has a unique voice, different from any other rapper I’ve heard. Kpop or otherwise. He is always fierce in every performance. Sadly he did not compete with Ateez in Kingdom:Legendary War because he was on a mental health break, but I feel like his voice and Jongho’s voices make Ateez songs really distinct and the other members add polish and nuance. They are a good group

I started my ATINY journey in June of 2019 less then a month after I became ARMY. All 8 members of ATEEZ have captured my love but MINGI is my bias.

Their stage presence and performance skills are pretty incredible, so I would suggest looking at some of their live stages. My personal favorite is Dona Eis Requiem (MAMA 2020), which is a classical remix of their songs Answer and Inception. Another Answer live stage is Answer: Ode to Joy from the competition show Kingdom. Mingi (pronounced "Min" like in "mink" and "Gi" like the gee in "geese") is the deep voiced rapper and his verses always hype me up to want to fight or dance, zero middle ground 😂. Some songs where his intensity really stands out are Wonderland, Fireworks (heard but not seen in the MV), and the Real. Also, just his live vocals are insane. He already has a unique vocal tone but the growl/gravel he gets in his voice for lives is next level. HALA HALA live vs recorded is a good example. And if you haven't seen them live, you haven't seen them! The energy they sustain is unreal. Maybe try for tickets for their November 2022 US tour dates if you can, it's gonna be wild.

I recommend checking out: Don’t stop Wonderland Hala hala Say my name I believe they originally were going to only debut as a dance group but ended up singing/rapping too.
