No you should never tighten the crankshaft bolt, holding it with the locking tool. You can easily bend it. We have tighten it while holding some of the tooths on the flywheel with big screwdriver. The video is 4-5 years old (this engines are kind of rare), so if I don't remember wrong we have lower it down only, so to have enough access.
