5:27 The visual downsize still hurts my soul to this day TmT Js look at how they butchered are boy!! 😭😭😭 besides that pretty decent year for the isle 👍
yeah like tf.... a mix of both would be Perfect... before it was too big, bit too strong and just not agile... now its too small, agility is good and charge is good (to some degree)... 1.5 would be perfect imo, keep the damage, agility, and charge pretty much... it'll just be a bit bigger...
Pretty good year. Only 2 playables released, but several big and small map changes, and this was the year they finally worked on optimization. It was the nesting update that made the game much more stable, I noticed. It hadn't felt that smooth since before they added customizable skins way back on Spiro. They focused on making the game more bearable this year, which I appreciate. The only thing is that I wish troodon got its own venom gimmick instead of a copy of dilo's fog. That is what made dilo feel unique imo. I'd love to see troodon be able to mimic other creatures' calls like they said it would be able to however many years ago instead of the copy of the fog.
Here's my list of years of the isle from best to worse And I based them on how many dinos we had and what mechanics and systems came out and how good/useful they were #1 - 2023 #2 - 2020 #3 - 2024 #4 - 2021 #5 - 2022 Generally a good/mid year, nothing absolutely amazing, but nothing necessarily bad overall
God this just brought back all the bad memories that were still facing today unfortunately… 😔 PTSD. Also, it’s east swamps now. Not east plains. There is no plains… just east swamps and eastern jungle.
they need to change the nightvision back. it almost unplayable during the nights for some species. like you see a silloutte of trees above you and then nothing.
Mid year for me. They have alot of good and bad decision that they made but I still enjoyed it, not as much like 2023 tho. But now that the year is ending. Im really really looking forward for what the isle is planning for 2025 Im just hoping that they gave us more content than this past years. Im keeping my Hopes Really High that they gave us more new things, playables, maybe new mechanics? And many more. The isle Evrima in 2025 should bring the best updates! (I Pray That they gave us more dinosaurs for the upcoming 2025 Please Give Me Bary! 😭)
Not a big fan of the east plains rework and main swamp extension... we got too much swamp now and east plains (now east swamp) have just become dead... What they could have done was to have a plain on the west side that goes all the way up to north plains and down to the ocean with some small forest patches around, and then have a forest/swamp forest on the east side... and then turn the swamp into a lake (just change the water)... boom done. Then it's the Swamp Extension... Why just why? The swamp was already big enough... They could have easily created another hotspot to spread out players that's in South Plains... Basically a mix of wetlands/minor swamp areas and plains... there could have been a main river flowing from the mountain (like the south plain's)... and then it could have ended up into a lake to then turn into a lot of rivers, with a mix of swamp/wetlands area, where some will lead into the swamp and some will lead down to the ocean...
Ummm naw..swamp is literally one of the very few ecosystems where baby semi aquatics can grow big enough to travel the map without dying at the drop of the hat to over populated lakes and river systems…it’s literally the safe haven to juivie semi aquatics and you think making it smaller ( more populated) would be good?

Great summary, thanks!
I had a moment where I thought - why my stamina isn't regenerating? If it's 20+ and I standing

Good year, would have been nicer with more playables, but thats why I think 2025 will be the best year regarding playables
mid year, a few strong changes and a lot of wasted time
had they added two carnivores to accompany dibble and maia it would've been much better
@@Doqihad they made Mia not a log of walking poopy doo doo it would’ve been much better
If anybody wasted their times, its us
Carno downsize was the worst!!!!!!!!

I think this was a good year for the isle
I agree
@@SkeleCCXL i dont agree
Ah yes, the twenty firsth of december and the thritty firsth of october
not one carnivore this year im disappointed, hopefully 2025 will be great.
Ah my favorite day of the year, October 31th.
Jokes aside, great recap
@maiawalters you're the "firth" one to notice that, also I had other ones when I just quickly copied the first one I made
@@Doqi ah ok, I hope not to sound rude lol I just found it funny ❤
Should start working as official content creator for the devs at this point
You did not include the ptera buff which allows ptera to restore stamina while latched on trees.
@Aleksi-Physics455 read the pinned comment
Oh 😅
It'd have been a peak year if they didn't nerf carno that badly :(

swamp extension was unnecessary
Its like theyre learning as they go 😂
Yeah they are. This is their first game.
Yep, they broke night vision again and still no Allo and Rexy, shame for Dondi!
"Me no have rex, me cry" its all dondis fault
Swamp is really boring. Must be smaller.
