It seems Roland had a quite colourful early upbringing, with his Father running an Artist's Agency from home, and as he describes, the Continental atmosphere courtesy of his Dad. It must have been a bumpy ride for him due to the marital breakup. It isn't any wonder that his early life is represented fairly heavily in his lyrics.
