I think the crosshair dipping thing is from watching Rawzu, he does this slight rhythmic dipping crosshair thing between burst sometimes to look cool. Rawzu does it much more slight tho.

12:45 some ppl bounce their bursts because they are more comfortable with the flick back to the head and less confident about the microflick available. I used to do that but practising my microflicks has overwritten that habit
From memory of watching Jollz before watching you. He does that too when demonstrating strafe shooting. I thought that was normal. And whenever I do it, it does that. No clue why it happens. Is it cause we try to pull down the crosshair too much for recoil?

Dear mr banana, I have a friend whos new to the game and got to gold by aim alone but he just never uses his util and doesnt even buy them unless I remind him to. I've tried explaining the usefulness of it and why its important but he still neglects util more often than not.. how would you coach someone like this?

Heyo! My advice given is generally specific to the rank of the student I'm coaching. In this case as the player is consistently at an Ascendant level, there's some maturity to expect of them when it comes to focusing on their gunfights. There's not really a routine necessary here, they just need to consciously slow down their fights in their ranked games for awhile.

Hooj won't VOD review anyone below gold since pretty much everyone below gold simply needs to keep working on their basic mechanics. Keep following the guide to Gold, keep improving your mechanics, you can do this!
Dont focus on advanced techniques before the basics, the fundamentals are much more important (crosshair placement, movement, general aim and mouse control, positioning etc.)
TBH i have very less room for my mouse to move and both my keyboard and mouse will be on a plank which is resting on my laps while i sit on a chair and my laptop sitting infront of me on another chair and also i play with no mousepad LMAO. I use 1600 DPI at 0.685 sensitivity which needs a lot of wrist control which is not possible while my keyboard and mouse slowly sliding down on the plank
Well there’s a recoil even after the first bullet so it does make sense to pull down your crosshair even when bursting. Even more with the phantom as it needs 2 bullets to the head at range. I’ve tried it in the practice range and at 30 meters about 50% of the recoil is big enough to 140 the bots.
In my opinion i also have a problem with gunfight hygiene because of this i’ve been wondering about your advice to Gold. I don’t really understand what is he supposed to do to fix his problem. Train his deadzones, bursts and movement? or maybe something else. Any response is welcome.(sorry for my bad english)
He had uploaded many gunfight hygiene videos, anyways here are some routines to slow down reaction time and improve accuracy, in Deathmatch don't shoot the enemy until they start firing first and only focus on aiming their head, second, if the enemy isn't looking then just track their head movements
im really convinced that you can put golds/plats in these lobbies and they'd do better than some of these people in the rank honestly.. but it is what it is

NGL the 5 legshot spray I have never seen on the combat report with the phantom. That should get you an achievement or something
Quick question: should we pull down while bursting to correct for recoil or is that unnecessary due to how bullet accuracy works
You want to have enough time between your bursts so that recoil resets and you wont have recoil for the first 2 bullets.
