    Nice! What would make this even better is if you'd have a restart, seconds after each elimination.
    Now, a tactic is just to get a gap, and for the leaders, it feels like mostly a normal race.
    If you'd force a restart after each elimination, there's no incentive to get a real gap anymore, and it starts to become all about strategy: conserving as much energy as possible, while not letting yourself be surprised/locked in.

    It would be so sick to have you get a world class marathon runner like kipchoge to run this with you guys have the fastest guys that show up try to keep up with him! That would be so fun to watch college athletes struggle to keep up with a world class athletes

      Pro tip: never play mixed water polo.
      Partly because my brother used to play, and he said the girls scared him.
      Partly because I was friends with the captain of a competitive girls water polo team (U18 I think), and she said there were times when she'd get out of the pool and be amazed that the opposing players would even talk to her...

    Nice awards! Your "pacer" and youngest runner!
    I've never seen a competition like this. It surely is annoying to be eliminated, but interesting strategy to try to outsprint others in a pack, and tough when you don't know how hard you have to run in front to make the cut. Overall always best to just run your best even pace and be out of reach from your rival's mid-race kick!

  • @marcomoon6062
    @marcomoon6062 3 года назад

    Even crazier idea... last one left wins, but team event. Mix in different specialties from 100m to marathon runners, maybe 4 people a team. The sprinters will try to run fast to get distance runners eliminated and make them run faster to die out sooner. distance runners want to run forever and out last everyone. Anyone lapped is eliminated. Last person every lap is elminated. Everyone will be pushed to go faster, but also have to be able to manage their speed to not die out. Athletes can strategically manage the pace of the race for their teammates or sacrafice themselves with a hard push to lap someone hanging back.
