Lots of cute by the wayside buildings where you come away with a parking ticket or a camera ticket. I grew up there from the seventies and only drive through there occasionally now from PG Maryland.
Thank you for watching. The ticket issue is a city thing 😀. What are the changes you’ve seen driving through SS, compared to your time in the 70s? PG is a nice place, will be driving through soon.
@@EscapetoGoodness The busses used to terminate on the other side of Georgia Avenue where the City Place is. They promenade in a block triangle across from that little Dunkin Doughnut which was a Little Tavern burgers on that back road. The City place mall was a McRory five and dime department store. and there was a Hecht Company store next to it. The Rite Aid store on GA Avenue was once called Drug Fair before the chain changed their name. But it still was a close nit community back then. They say that the Jewish people have a gift of uniting everyone together and I think there is some truth to that Community.
