I just found your videos and am so impressed! You really go step-by-step, which is exactly what I need to understand the topics. This A+ content is especially valuable as I'm just preparing to launch my first low-content books. Thanks so much!
Awesome video, Craig! I watched it several times before I even attempted to add any A+ content to one of my low content books on Amazon, and I am so happy I did. I was able to avoid any of the mistakes that you made, and kindly shared with us. I submitted My A+ content on a Friday evening. Early Monday morning I received an email that it had been approved. Within hours it had been posted on my book. Thank you so much for all of your help. And of course I'm a subscriber.
Another very helpful video. You are clear, complete and succinct. Love your style. You are becoming my goto creator for self publishing. A few questions: 1) Did they remove the look inside feature? If so, A Plus content is what I think I have to use 2) I just released a niche puzzle activity book. So I want to give potential buyers a view of what I'm offering by showing them some pages. Do you agree that this is helpful? 3) I also have a RUclips channel related to the same niche. Am I allowed to promote my RUclips channel in the A Plus content? I will read the guidelines to check because I think that would drive people away from Amazon.
1) Yes, for KDP books anyway, and you should use A+ Content. 2) Yes. 3) No, you can't promote any links that take a customer off of the Amazon platform. But you can promote your other books listed on Amazon.
Great guide. If a module insists on an image that is 970 x 300 pixels, do you have to make it that pixel count or can you make it higher resolution but have the same aspect ratio?
You can make it a higher resolution, but keep in mind that A+ content's primary use is on mobile, where there isn't an option to look inside of the book. So the larger your resolution sizes are, the less likely they are to load on customers phones.
At around minute 4:10 You mention that you should start from the US but you are using Canada, I am also a Canadian publisher but we make sales in the US as well, should I also just pick Canada, would I do both? Thanks so much for the info, this is a great video!

If you're referring to the viewer that's located under your books' main cover photo on the left hand side of your Amazon page, you can't. That space can only be accessed by those in the Amazon Seller Program. KDP users don't have access to that section. Hi Sir please post a complete video about how to post paper book on kdp also with A+ content listing and keywords. Please it's a request. Also congrats for a new subscriber
Hello! Thank you for your video. I created a listing for the first time on Amazon Seller Central. I have a brand registered with Amazon Brand Registry that publishes my book. When I tried to create A+ Content on Seller Central, I received an error message "Book". When I created an account on KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) and tried to create A+ Content, it indicated that the system does not recognize the ASIN as part of my brand. Any advice on how to navigate this? Thanks a bunch!
I can't say for sure, but I think that Amazon treats Seller Central accounts differently that it does KDP accounts. Because I know that the product images below the main product shot on the product page are only accessible to Amazon Seller Central accounts, not KDP accounts. So maybe the A+ content feature is only available if you publish your book through KDP? Your best bet would be to contact KDP from within your KDP account and ask them.
Hi Craig, thanks for your amazing and informative videos! I've been trying to figure out how and what to add for A+ content but it seems when I upload my images, the resolution is worse than they should be. The images are png files with a size
I use PNG files with a resolution of 1940X1200 pixels (file size 1.12MB). They seem to work out fine. You can view my A+ content here: www.amazon.com/Funny-Drawing-Prompts-Options-Character/dp/0981144624?ref_=ast_author_mpb
Hi Craig - thanks for your response! Do you change the image size (or is it the canvas size?) to that resolution right off the bat before importing any pics or mockups?? Are the images
@@neither-me-neither I create my images at the 1940X1200px resolution right from the start. And the 1.12MB file size is just what they come out as. If you're finding that your file sizes are too large, just drag and drop them into: tinypng.com/

They don't have to fill up the full 300px height of the graphic, only the 150px width. It's okay if the book icons have different heights, you just want the width to be consistent so that all of the gaps between each image are consistent as well. It just looks better.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but you won't be able to link to books that aren't under your author name in the comparison module. If you're asking me if you can upload a logo that is different from your books' author name, I'm not sure. The best thing you can do is try it and see if Amazon rejects your submission.

Yes. You can upload to each market manually, or upload to the US first and wait about 2 weeks, then just apply the ASIN number in each market for a quick approval.
Log into your KDP account, go to your bookshelf, find the book in question and click on the "3 dots" icon in the "Paperback Actions" section and choose "edit book content". I have followed every step in your video and it will not allow me to add an aisn. I get a message saying “We can’t find this aisn in the catalog. If the aisn has been restricted, suspend the A+content before requesting reinstatement “ What does that mean and what do I do?
@@CraigBabin I did and they sent a standard letter saying to make sure I was entering the right AISN and to try copying it and pasting it in. I did both and still the same message. @@reen3165 In your KDP "Bookshelf" are these books listed as live? And are you copying the ASIN number right below your books' price in the Bookshelf? Also, have you received any notices from Amazon saying that your book has been suspended in the past few weeks?
