The word "hope" is being heavily used by the Steelers with hoping that a rookie center, a rookie right tackle and a rookie #2 wide receiver are going to make a solid impact for next season. A risky move for a team that wants to compete in the AFC. Crossing fingers that this plan works.

Yeah but that is how teams developed or retool maybe it won't work out but I have a lot of faith in all are picks from the first two days I think we knocked it out of the park but every year rookies and free agents join teams and make big impacts

But all these rookies have had 4 years in college. So…they likely will be helpful in their “hope”. Could work out. And I dont think they will all be counter on from day 1. But likely will all be heavy contributors by 1/2-3/4 way in to season

Heard in week two austin came on Roman and Calvin both can be #2 I won’t freak if we don’t get another receiver we got lots of talent watch out for Quez Watkins too Russ likes him got te. And tbs who can catch ball too
Yinzers are gonna be pleased with Roman Wilson. He is gonna be solid. Particularly in year 2-3. Very good. But I do think by the middle-end of this season, he will be a solid number 2 receiver. Lets Go Black and Gold. Amped up for this season to start. We got a chance to do something in the playoffs. Its gonna be a tough road. But I think we gonna get there.

I think Pat Friermuth will actually be WR 2 with the way he’ll be used in Arthur Smiths system and Wilson will be the third best reviving option .
I think Calvin Austin has a very good chance ppl are underestimating him after being badly misused by Canada ! The guy has elite speed that will make defenses adjust to him
I don’t think we need anymore corners let talent we have ball out I am season ticket holder at WVU so saw a lot of Zach and Beanie ! Zach has great get off gets under guys pads and pushes guy back 5-20 yards disciplined no penalties great hands will uphold tradition at center future HOF guy beanie has been a little handsey but seemed to have great improvement in his second half of season he’s not tall but long from waist up and can jump high! Very good at pbus getting turned around to face qb very few PI’s imo he makes roster and becomes starter after getting nfl experienced word also is he’s very coachable and will welcome learning from vets

You know we may better receivers but for years since we lost Plexico to free agency it goes we have some of the best receivers in football we loss some of those guys I.E Plexico Randal El Holmes Nate Washington Wallace Sanders Ward Brown Claypool. Bryant. James Washington Wheaton Coats Juju and now Johnson everyone freaks out all off season and a receiver or two taken later in the draft and usual a free agent burst on to the scene and again we build a top notch receiver room some times the best in football so maybe it's time to give them the benefit of the doubt and this might be an off year or we may trade and add a big name but think about it they have the opportunity to pick up big name receivers in free agency and didn't we did try to make some trades happen before the draft but it seems like we have faith in Roman and Austin

@@SteelTwins I agree but as a whole wr core one can say that Eli Rodgers was the second best wr on the team not counting Martavis Bryant because of suspension, I believe that Calvin Austin and Roman Wilson beat out any of our other WRs on that 2016 wr core

Wilson should be a 3rd or 4th option. That's if the team was built right. It is not though expecting him to be a two is crazy. They got 0 money spent on offense as usual. Go get Brandon give yourself a chance. If not it will be another 500 season.
